First up, Devon General Atlantean NDV538G. This was one of six delivered new Exeter (Blackboy Road Garage). Along with 532/533/536/537 and 538 were operated during the day on the Rifford Road Circular services R & S. Photo taken in the High Street.
Now we see Leyland Panthers VOD 218K to VOD 224K. Six of the seven vehicles ordered by Exeter City Corporation, but delivered to Devon General in DG livery. These were lined up in Exeter (Coach Station) on 31st December 1971 and entered service next day.
Finally we have Western National Bristol FLF 2009 814 KDV which was transferred to the Devon General fleet. This was working City Service C to Crossmead. Appearances of the these vehicles on City routes were rare and were not liked by the Exeter crews. The result that they mainly worked Service 2 Exeter to Newton Abbot via Dawlish.
