Two more Enviro 300s delivered to Stagecoach North East at Stockton are 27162/63 (SN64OJL/M) and Richard Smiles reports that 27160 has become the first of the batch to enter service this lunchtime.
Stagecoach East continues to operate the former Cavalier Dart 33305, which carries Stagecoach SmartCard livery, from its' Peterborough depot. News from East Yorkshire Motor Services is that it has put its' Whilltles business up for sale. The subsidary operates 17 coaches and 18 single deck buses, and has a further two Dart SLFs awaiting disposal. The company has also put a large number of its delicenced fleet up for disposal. The complete list of vehicles for disposal is Dart SLFs 161, 162, 166 at Whittles, 169 at Whittles, 318 Volvo Olympians 623, 624, 629 Mercedes O405 285, 299, 300 Optare Excel 250, 252, 253, 254, 287, 292, 296 Also up for disposal are the four Dennis Tridents that were transferred across from the Finglands fleet - 638, 639, 640 and 641. The Trident 2/Enviro 400s that have spent the summer with Stagecoach Yorkshire on Sheffield Supertram replacement work, and latterly on Ryder Cup duties, are now being cascaded to other fleets. 19065 has gone to Stagecoach South West at Exeter, whilst Stagecoach South is taking 19055/63/69/77/79/96/99. Most were delivered to Winchester but it is understood that at least two went direct to Portsmouth.
