You wait for ages and then fleet information comes thick and fast…
By this weekend Stagecoach Yorkshire should have received all 17 vehicles it is taking on loan from regional fleets for Supertram replacement work. The vehicles we understand will be based in Sheffield for the next two months are:
Trident 2/Enviro 400: 19652/53/56 from Stagecoach East Scotland (Arbroath)
Trident 2/Enviro 400: 19672 from Stagecoach North East (Walkergate)
Trident 2/Enviro 400: 19332, 19475 from Stagecoach Manchester (Hyde Road)
Trident 2/Enviro 400: 19619/20 from Stagecoach East (Cambridge)

Scania/Enviro 400: 15840 from Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire (Chorley)
Scania/Enviro 400: 15435 from Stagecoach Oxfordshire (Oxford)
Look out for at least 16 buses making the trek east from Stagecoach Manchester to the Stagecoach East Midlands fleet. The transfer of 13 East Lancs-bodied Tridents is already underway with 17648-50, 18281-89/93 doe to transfer. All were previously operated on the Magicbus network in Manchester and carry Magicbus livery. None were new to Stagecoach and were acquired at various times with the businesses of Maynes, Bullocks and Dennis’. Also expected to transfer from Stagecoach Manchester to Stagecoach East Midlands are three ex Preston Bus Optare Solos - 47752/57/68/74/75 are currently in the Reserve Fleet in Manchester with 47751 expected to join them.
There is also a suggestion that Optare Solo 47068 in the Stagecoach East Scotland Reserve Fleet at Arbroath may also move south to Stagecoach East Midlands.
We have received reports that the ADL E400 MMC demonstrator YX64VOO, which East Yorkshire Motor Services were expecting in loan was operating with Cardiff Bus earlier this week.
