Stagecoach UK Bus
The number of repaints across Stagecoach UK Bus operating companies is now ramping up although currently most have been in the ‘Stagecoach Local’ scheme with a handful in the ‘Stagecoach long distance’ amber yellow scheme. We have not had any reports of any vehicles being painted into the white and ocean green ‘Stagecoach Specials’ scheme. However, it now seems that there is some local interpretation allowed over whether the black window surrounds are retained on repainted vehicles such as Enviro 200s. There is no definitive instruction and we understand that local paint shops will be allowed to retain the black window surround area or paint it white. Similarly there is no livery standard covering the area around the front light clusters. It would also appear that repaints into previous livery schemes are still taking place. The latest reported new scheme repaints to us are: Stagecoach Yorkshire: Enviro 200 36180 - ‘Stagecoach Local’ (retains black window surrounds) Stagecoach South East: Enviro 200MMC 26243 - ‘Stagecoach Local’ Stagecoach South Wales: Enviro 200 36853 - ‘Stagecoach Local’ (white window surrounds) and Scania/Enviro 300 28733 - ‘Stagecoach Long Distance’ Stagecoach East Scotland: Enviro 300 27118 - ‘Stagecoach Local’ (white window surrounds)
Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire
As expected Dart SLF 35193, which carries Lakes green livery, was collected from here over the weekend and taken to Stagecoach West’s Cheltenham depot. Stagecoach East Enviro 400s currently on loan from Cambridge to Bedford are 19574 and 19601. Stagecoach Oxfordshire The first MAN/ALX300 training bus conversion to arrive here from ADL Anston is 22417, which carries an all over blue livery. Stagecoach East Midlands Scania/Enviro 400 15616, which is now at Long Sutton, has had InterConnect branding applied along with new-style Stagecoach logos. Go North East Repaints last week included Optare Solo M890/Optare 628 into ‘Little Coasters’ livery. Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini 2 6004 has also lost its branding for the ‘Red Arrows’, having been stripped of all vinyls, ahead of the introduction of new vehicles to this service in May. Repaints the previous week included Mercedes Citaro 0350N/Mercedes Citaro 5278 and 5279 into the 2019 fleet livery. Scania N94UD/East Lancs OmniDekka 6143 is no longer a float/reserve vehicle and now forms part of the main fleet allocation at Riverside. It has replaced former East Yorkshire Volvo B7TL/Plaxton President 6935 (X508 EGK) which has suffered defects uneconomical to repair. Float Optare Solo M890/Optare 636 is now allocated to Percy Main to provide cover for the remaining ‘Little Coasters’ branded Optare Solo repaints. East Yorkshire The company has reported that Volvo B7TLs 669/70/71/73/77 have transferred to fellow Go Ahead company Plymouth Citybus and moved south from Hull yesterday.
