✤Stagecoach Oxfordshire A report from our friends at the Oxford & Chiltern Bus Page confirms that the Van Hool Astromega (50237) on loan from Stagecoach South Wales for Oxford Tube work is now in service, whilst displaced 50286 has been sent to Stagecoach Yorkshire’s Chesterfield depot for repaint with 50285 due to follow this week. Our prediction is that 50285 and 50286 will remain at Chesterfield for Rail Replacement work moving north to Stagecoach West Scotland in September. ✤Stagecoach East Further surplus vehicles extracted from the former King’s Lynn depot and moved to Cambridge are Optare Solos 47910/12 and East Lancs-bodied Trident 18280, whilst 47905 has been reported at Bedford. Tridents 17484 and 17500 along with open top Tridents 17079/99 and 17276 are all parked up at Ely. ✤Stagecoach North East We received reports over the weekend that Enviro 400MMCs 10631/52/53 were at Sunderland depot on 14thJuly, presumably for use in connection with the Tall Ships event.
