Stagecoach East has taken the ‘make do and mend’ approach to get Scania/Enviro 400 15954 back into service, using parts from the other long-term repair member of the fleet 15958.
Following its repaint into ‘magicbus’ livery Stagecoach Manchester has transferred Enviro 400 19168 to Sharston.
Reports receive suggest that a number of Dart SLFs are currently at Stagecoach West’s Cheltenham depot on a temporary basis – 34727 is nominally a Swindon vehicle, whilst 34680 and 34786/87 are part of the Stroud-based Reserve Fleet.
Due for delivery to Stagecoach South East by the end of March are Enviro 400MMC-bodied Scanias 15261-90 which will be allocated to Herne Bay and Thanet depots. The company has also confirmed that further cascaded Tridents are still expected from Stagecoach Manchester.
At Stagecoach North East Volvo B10M/Alexander PS training bus 20121 has now been repainted out of fleet livery and into training livery.

It is understood that the original ‘Rocky’ 17674 had been smoking badly, which has resulted in its withdrawal and listing for disposal - a real example that smoking can be harmful!
