➨Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire This remains the last part of Stagecoach UK Bus to use a non-DDA double deck on public service. After the expiry of the dispensation period for limited schoolday use of 16639 at Barrow, limited dispensation has now been given for the use of 16793, which has transferred over from Carlisle. 16661 has replaced 16793 on ‘closed contract’ school duties at Carlisle. The arrangement has been made necessary due to Trident 18375 still being away at BusTech for seat belt fitting. ➨Stagecoach Manchester Recent changes have seen services 42, 42A and the new 42B operated from Hyde Road and operation of service 50 concentrated on Sharston. As a result Enviro 400 Hybrids 12233-46 are now allocated to Sharston with 12054, 12108/09, 12247-52/54/55/56 moving to Hyde Road where they are expected to be joined by 12253 and 12257. We also understand that there is a plan to convert single deck operation to double deck at Wigan which will oust the remaining MAN/ALX300s there along with the Volvo B7RLEs. Other Enviro 400s reallocated are 19328 and 19493 from Stockport to Wigan and 19365/90/91/93-97 from Hyde Road to Sharston.
