The first two double decks to go to Norfolk Green on loan arrived yesterday, reports Andy's Bus Blog, and are Volvo Olympians from Stagecoach East at Bedford. 16226 is in corprate Stagecoach livery, whilst 16227 wears the blue version of the Harpur Trust schools livery and carries Biggleswade & District schools branding. A further four vehicles are expected to arrive at King's Lynn over the weekend.
Route 36 branding applied to a handful of MAN/Enviro 300 saloons with Stagecoach North East at Stockton is being removed on repaint. Already repainted are 24102 and 24105 with 24104 next in the paintshop. Former Stagecoach West Tridents 18127/28 have now arrived at Stagecoach Midland's Corby depot, where they are being prepared for service. Expect them to replace Olympians 16162 and 16684. East Yorkshire Motor Services has unveiled its recently-bought Bristol Lodekka 645 at its Big Bus Day in Hull today. It has been painted in the company's coaching colours of Primrose and Riviera Blue and has added silver relief. Also on display at the event is Volvo B7TL 592 which has been painted into a commemorative World War One 'Poppy' livery. There are suggestions that three Stagecoach West Tridents could be heading to Stagecoach South. Look out for Delaine Buses' latest Volvo B9TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini entering service next week. Carrying fleet number 157 it is registered AD64DBL
