Stagecoach Midlands is launching its ‘Stagecoach Gold’ Optare SRs in Leamington Spa today prior to their entry into service.
East Yorkshire Motor Services has now painted three vehicles, 768-70, in the pink/white livery with route branding for service 103:105. The company also advises that 382/83, 470/71 and 582/82 are all now allocated to Hull. 382/83 having transferred from Scarborough and the others were previously delicenced.
News reaches us from Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire that two Volvo Olympians have been given a reprieve. 16640 and 16642 will return to service following major repairs and are expected to be allocated to Morecambe.
Stagecoach Bluebird has fitted seatbelts to Trident 18449, recently received from Stagecoach West.
Stagecoach London has scrapped Trident 17892 following severe fire damage, whilst 17800 is awaiting disposal. 17583 has transferred to Stagecoach West Scotland and will be donated to charity rather than being used.
Look out for the arrival of three Dart SLFs at Stagecoach West Scotland. Regular correspondent Richard Smiles has advised that 34568/69 and 34606 are being transferred from Stagecoach North East.
Also at Stagecoach West Scotland Leyland Olympian Tri-Axles 13609/23 are reported as being sold, whilst Trident 18000 has transferred to Stagecoach North Scotland.
