July 15th 2019 @ 15:40: Arriva Wales Optare Solo destroyed and newly-converted East Yorkshire open top Volvo B7TL allocated to Bridlington

Following a number of queries we are able to confirm that the Optare Solo M950 destroyed by fire on the Great Orme at Llandudno on July 10th 2019 was 688 (CX09BFZ).

Go North West
We don’t normally comment on Fleet Ramblings but we must admit that that the new Go North West livery really doesn’t work for us! One of the vehicles carrying the new livery is Wright Streetlite 63154 (SN14DXU).

Brylaine Travel
Now in use here is Optare Solo M850SL YJ05WCF, which has come from ConneXions Bus but previously was operated by Stagecoach South as its 47400.
 
East Yorkshire
Newly-converted open top Volvo B7TL 896 has been allocated to Bridlington. Although decorated with full ‘Scarborough Beachcomber’ branding on completion of its open top conversion parts of the branding have now been removed.
