It seems thoughts of the remaining Optare Spectras with Stagecoach East being taken out of service over the last weekend were premature and the last few of the type here remain in service from King’s Lynn.
At Stagecoach East Midlands there have been a few loan buses operating in Grimsby recently, although Tridents 18047 from Lincoln and 18435 from Hull may have only seen one day in service there. Today, 18429 from Hull has been in use. Operating from Grimsby over the last few days have been two Dart SPDs from the Reserve Fleet - 33832 and 33836.
East Yorkshire Motor Services has advised us of recent changes to the fleet which has seen Volvo B7RLEs 338 and 339 transferred from Elloughton to Hull and 340 from Withernsea to Hull. New Enviro 200s 388 and 391 are at Elloughton with 389/90 currently delicenced, older E200 359 has been transferred from Bridlington to Scarborough. Dart SLFs sold from the fleet are 461 and 464. At Hull Enterprise Plasma 496 has been delicenced, but replaced in the operational fleet by 501. Volvo B7TLs on the move are 646 from Scarborough to Bridlington and 682 from Hull to Withernsea. Volvo B9TLs 722-26 are reallocated from Scarborough to Hull with the Open Top fleet of Volvo B7TLs are Scarborough are now delicenced for the winter. A new arrival is short Enviro 200 505, which is confirmed as registered SN65OHO and is delicenced awaiting preparation into service.
