Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire was able to move back into Willowholme depot in Carlisle last Friday evening. The depot had been flooded in the storms that hit Cumbria just over a week ago. However, only parking for buses is available as the maintenance facilities at the depot are still out of use. We understand that the three Optare Solos due at Carlisle on loan from Stagecoach Manchester were due to arrive yesterday.
Some of the vehicles which moved on loan to Stagecoach East Scotland for Forth Road Bridge Closure Contingency work have been returned to their respective operating companies. Scania/Enviro 400 15446 is reported back in service at Northampton with Stagecoach Midlands, whilst Trident/Enviro 400 is back with Stagecoach North East.

News from Stagecoach South Wales confirms that following the allocation of new ‘Stagecoach Gold’ Enviro 300s (27273-87) to Cwmbran, standard versions ousted are 27690/91 to Blackwood, 27689/92/94/95/96 and 27700 to Merthyr with 27687/88/93/97-99 being placed into the Reserve Fleet at Blackwood. Optare Solo 47350 has moved from Merthyr to Cwmbran with Dart SLF 34749 transferring from Cwmbran to Blackwood where Dart SLFs 34663/78 and 34746 are also now on the allocation. Volvo B10BLE is also recorded by the company as transferring from Cwmbran to Blackwood. At Caerphilly, the Staff Shuttle is now 34664 whilst Blackwood’s Shuttle 34135 is now for disposal and has been replaced by MAN/East Lancs 39620. MAN/MCV 39618 is now for disposal along with former Blackwood-allocated 20967. Reported as sold for preservation is Volvo B10M 20685.
