Stagecoach East Midlands…
A number of fleet movements are planned for the weened of 3rd/4th September. Scunthorpe is to lose Volvo Olympians 16461/66/66 which will move to Gainsborough, with Enviro 300s 27194/96/97 from Hull replacing them at Scunthorpe. The Enviro 300s will be replaced at Hull by MAN/Enviro 300s 22762/63/64 which will transfer over from Skegness. Completion of repairs to Volvo B7TL 16914 at Skegness sees it return to service ousting Trident 17046 to the Reserve Fleet. At Mansfield Tridents 17681/83/85 which has recently been placed in the Reserve Fleet there will transfer over to the main allocation there.
Stagecoach West…
Scania Omnilink 24007 did not return to Stagecoach East Scotland last month after its evaluation with Stagecoach South Wales and remains here stored at Swindon.
Stagecoach North East…
Regular correspondent Richard Smiles reports that former Stagecoach Manchester Trident 17643 has been sent to Gardiners of Spennymoor for part open top conversion. Stagecoach East Scotland Optare Solo 47053 from the Reserve Fleet there was noticed parked up at Stockton depot suggesting it is being transferred elsewhere within Stagecoach UK Bus or has been sold.
Stagecoach East Scotland…
There have been numerous fleet movements in the last few weeks as a result of the closure of Dundee depot. These will all be incorporated in the Allocation document which we hope to upload in the next 48 hours. Due to the volume of changes we are not in a position to detail them all here, however 16763 and 17654 are recorded by the company as scrapped whilst 17652/53, 34371, 34480/81/84/85/86, 34569 and 34586 are shown as awaiting disposal. Volvo Olympian 16778 has been sold to North West Bus Sales and is believed to be now with an operator in the south of England. Former Stagecoach South West Trident 17707 has now entered service here at Dunfermline after an extended period on loan to Stagecoach West Scotland. The recent changes have eliminated the remaining MAN/ALX300s from the main fleet to the Reserve Fleet.
