Most of the new Optare Solo SRs (48031-36) are now in service at King’s Lynn, with 48035/36 reported as being the first in service. Their allocation to King’s Lynn has seen older Optare Solos 47891/94/97/98 being taken out of service and parked up.

The company has confirmed that it has repainted Mercedes 709D 40933 into original Stagecoach stripes livery following its transfer into the Stagecoach UK Bus Heritage fleet.

Heritage Fleet Leyland Leopard 25773 has recently been moved into the workshop at Kilmarnock where an assessment has been made regarding its restoration.
Stagecoach East Scotland…
Former Stagecoach North East Enviro 400s 19150/51/52/55/57 have been allocated to Dunfermline, whilst 19153/54 are in the Reserve Fleet at Aberhill being prepared for entry into service. Tridents 17707, 18009 and 18013 from Dunfermline are now in the Reserve Fleet, whilst 18015 has gone on loan to Stagecoach Bluebird. The remaining operational Scania Omnilinks 24001/02/03/05 are now out of service and join 24006/07/08/09 in the Reserve Fleet. Reserve Fleet Volvo B7Rs 53260/90 are back in service at Dunfermline whilst Optare Versa 25225 is out of service for collision repairs with Dart SLF being allocated to Glenrothes as cover. Trident 17579 is now allocated to Wellwood. Optare Solo 47215 is now in use as a staff shuttle at Arbroath. Dart SLF 34569 has been sold to McGills and Volvo B10M 52666 to Yule Bus. Optare Solo 47053 has been donated to ‘Sowing the Seeds’ charity. Vehicles stripped for spares and scrapped are Dart SLFs 34480/81 whilst Optare Solo 47255 has also been scrapped.

Stagecoach East Midlands…
Enviro 400 19142 has arrived here from Stagecoach North East, its transfer to Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire being cancelled. It will go into service at Lincoln. Also due for Lincoln are 19147/48 which will transfer from Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire later this week. Enviro 200s received from Stagecoach Oxfordshire are 36451/52 now at Lincoln and 36453/54/55 at Hull. The three at Hull have released Enviro 300s 27762/63/64 to the Seasonal Reserve Fleet at Skegness. Enviro 300 27201 is now in the Hull Flyer fleet at Grimsby having transferred over from Hull, which former Hull Flyer MAN/Enviro 300 24201 is now allocated to Hull.

The last month has seen a large number of vehicle re-allocations and the clear out of the Reserve Fleet with several dart SLFs now for disposal or cascade within Stagecoach UK Bus. Now allocated to Andover are Volvo Olympian 16268 along with Optare Solo 47536 and Dart SLFs 34636, 35151/52 and 35252. Andover has received Enviro 300 27515 and Dart SLF s 34453, 34520 and 34521. Now at Basingstoke are Volvo Olympian 16291 along with Enviro 300s 27616-22. Transferred in to Chichester are Volvo Olympians 16295, 16632, 16633 along with Trident 18502. Gulidford now has Enviro 200s 37261-68 along with Optare Solo 47537. Dart SLFs now at Portsmouth 35213/14. Enviro 400s 19158/59/60/61/63/93 have been allocated to Winchester which also now has Trident 18527 on its books. Worthing has gained Dart SLFs 35210/11. In the Reserve Fleet here are Dart SLFs 34446, 34516/23/24/66, 34615 and Volvo Olympians 16261, 16769 and 16798. Now awaiting disposal are Volvo Olympians 16304, 16523; Trident 17672; Optare Solos 47307, 47545 and Dart SLFs 34414/16/45/48/49/50/52, 34515/18/27, 34638.
Stagecoach London…
Now allocated to Romford are Trident 17995 and Enviro 400s 19749/50/54, 19809/19. Enviro 200s 35436/38 are now in the Reserve Fleet from West ham whilst Trident 17808 has been sold to PVS Barnsley. Now for disposal here are Tridents 17809/70. Tridents 17707/10 are now being used for Engineering Training at West Ham. Vehicles leaving the fleet off lease are 17759-64/66-78 to Invertec and 17765, 17854 to Lombard.
Stagecoach West Scotland…
Volvo B12B 54078 which was in the Reserve Fleet at Cumbernauld is now for disposal, whilst 54061 has returned to the main fleet from the Joint Venture fleet at Cumbernauld.

The three ex Stagecoach Manchester Tridents here 17151/75/80 are now allocated to Cambridge for use on a Skanska contract. The final two Dart SLFs on the mail allocation at King’s Lynn, 34580 and 34701 are now in the Reserve Fleet as are Optare Tempos 25123 and 25127 along with Optare Solo 47894. A number of vehicles are now for disposal here and recent additions are Dart SLFs 34639/40 and 34700 along with Optare Solos 47890/95/99.

Stagecoach Bluebird…
Vehicles sold are Volvo B10Ms 20932 and 52415, whilst Optare Solo is now out of use and for disposal. The Reserve Fleet here has been reduced to just three vehicles, Dart SLF 34728 (Elgin) and Optare Solos 47487 (Aberdeen) and 47235 (Peterhead). Vehicles out of service for long term repairs are 10527, 17128, 27537, 29003, 29901/04, 53226/66/70, 53632 and 53317. Fleet changes have seen Trident 18018 and Volvo B12B 54066 are allocated to Aberdeen. Optare Solos now allocated to depots are 47111 (Insch), 47257 (Stonehaven), 47161 (Macduff) and 47162 (Buchan). Also at Buchan are Dart SLF 34726 and ADL Enviro 300 27538. Volvo B7R 53263 is now allocated to Elgin and 53239 is at Macduff.
Stagecoach Highlands…
ADL Enviro 300s 27631/32 have transferred from Orkney to Inverness in exchange for Optare Solos SRs 47812/14. Optare Solo 47232 is now for disposal whilst Volvo B7R 53294 is allocated to Aviemore. Dennis Javelin 27057 is delicenced for repairs. Vehicles for disposal here are Volvo B7R 53228 and Optare Solo 47571.

Stagecoach North East…
The three MAN/Enviro 300s received from Stagecoach East Scotland (22574/79/81) are in the Reserve Fleet at Slatyford where they are being prepared for service. MAN/East Lancs Kinetic 22515 has been allocated to Slatyford. MAN/Enviro 200 39721 has transferred from Walkergate to Slatyford in exchange for MAN/ALX300 22346. MAN/Enviro 200 39710 has returned to service at Hartlepool ousting Dart SLF 34561 to the Reserve Fleet. MAN/ALX300 22023 has moved from Slatyford to the Reserve Fleet whilst Trident 17027 has been donated to Cleveland Police.
Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire…
A rationalisation of the fleet here has seen a number of vehicles released for disposal. Vehicles now for disposal here are: 16634/60/63/67/70, 16776/95, 17022/24/36, 17197, 17246, 20944, 22121, 22813/17/27/73/78, 47005/17/21/22 and 47754. Out of service for repairs/repaint are 15723/24/28, 1666, 19986, 22876, 24117/22. The operational Reserve Fleet here is: Kendal: 18381, 34712, 34802 West Cumbria: 34616 Barrow: 47136/37 Morecambe: 47452/53, 47751 The Strategic Reserve Fleet is: Barrow: 47011 West Cumbria: 16118, 16657, 20219, 20459 Carlisle: 16119, 16650, 16793, 20712 Kendal: 22149 Vehicles in the Seasonal Reserve Fleet are 12671, 16534, 17217/21/77, 17489.
Stagecoach South West…
Transferred here from Stagecoach South for driver training use are Volvo B7Rs 53235/36, which are allocated to Exeter. They have replaced Dart SLF 34115 and Volvo B10M 52480 which are for disposal. The Caetano Nimbus-bodied Dart SLF 34399 here is to be transferred to Stagecoach South East. Volvo B10M training vehicle 52619 is understood to have been transferred to Stagecoach South. Dart SLFs 33870/74/76 have been sold to Stafford Bus Centre. Scania/Enviro 400 15666 is now at Exeter, being exchanged with Torquay for 15866. Reserve Fleet Tridents 18068/69/74 are now allocated to Plymouth.

The new Optare Solos for Coasthopper services (48031-36) are due to enter service on October 3rd. 48032 was used for a photoshoot at Holkham Hall and between Cromer and Hunstanton yesterday.
A surprise departure from the fleet is former Cavalier Dart SLF 33305, which carries a Stagecoach Smart Card advert. It is now with Stagecoach South East and we understand it is allocated to Thanet.
Repaints here are 47906/09 into corporate livery from Coasthopper livery, whilst Dart SLF 34701 has lost its Stagecoach Norfolk Green and is now in corporate livery.
Stagecoach North East…
A second former Stagecoach Manchester Trident to be despatched to Gardiners of Spennymoor for part open top conversion is 17239.
East Yorkshire Motor Services…
Volvo B8RLE is operating with Morebus of Bournemouth whilst on loan to Go SouthCoast. Previously unreported by us is the transfer of 704 from Hull to Bridlington.

The Reserve Fleet has been rationalised here with eleven vehicles put up for disposal: Tridents 17176, 17660/65/67/68/69; Dart SLF 33099; MAN/ALX300 22009, 22945/46 and Volvo B10M coach 52231. Further Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 45 minibuses to be delivered here are 44004/06/10/12/13/15/16/19 which are stored at Eastbourne pending a re-vamp of the Ashford Town services. In a surprise move, Mercedes 709D 40933, one of the original specification Stagecoach minibuses, has been transferred to the Heritage Fleet. Dart SLF 35256 which had been used at a repaint float vehicle has been allocated to Dover whilst other changes reported are Scania/Enviro 400 15443 Herne Bay to Folkestone in exchange for 15480; Trident 17587 from the Reserve Fleet to Herne Bay in exchange for 17656, 17632 from the Reserve Fleet to Hastings and 17657 from the Reserve Fleet to Dover. More Dart SLFs are expected here shortly from other fleets. Stagecoach Midlands…
The entry into service of Enviro 400s cascaded from Stagecoach Manchester has seen the last Volvo Olympians withdrawn and also several early Tridents are now for disposal. Sold to Ensign Bus are Volvo Olympians 16459 along with 16694/96/98/99, whilst 16460 and 16695 from Stratford are now awaiting disposal. In a surprise move Trident 18147 has been transferred back to Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire. Enviro 19083/84 at Corby has seen Tridents 17212 and 17697 withdrawn, 19080/82 at Stratford have replaced the Volvo Olympians, 19089 at Northampton has ousted 17695 for disposal and 19087 at Kettering has allowed 17060 to be withdrawn. Trident 18149 is now allocated to Northampton. MAN/Enviro 200 39700 is back in service at Northampton, whilst 39694/95 are at Nuneaton and will be joined by 39698 following repaint.
Trident 17613 is now allocated to Kettering with Dart SLF 34772 transferred from Kettering to Stratford. Optare Solos 47070-74 have been withdrawn from service at Nuneaton and replaced for former Gold-specification Solos 47510/12 and 47651/52/54. Three of the four Dart SLFs at Nuneaton have been removed from the allocation with 34594 and 34627 in the Reserve Fleet and 34595 for disposal. Also for disposal is Dart SLF 34491 and Optare Solos 47046/69 and 47409. Megabus Europe Volvo B11R 55021 is currently out of service for accident repairs. A further MAN/ALX300 for conversion to a training vehicle here is 22375.
Stagecoach Yorkshire…
Scania/Enviro 400s 15687/88 were not transferred from Chesterfield to Ecclesfield with 15693/94 moving in their place. Optare Solos 47282/89/91 have been sold to Ensign Bus, whilst Tridents 17562/69 and 17790 from Ecclesfield along with Optare Solo 47296 from Barnsley are now awaiting disposal. MAN/ALX300 22083 remains in the Reserve Fleet and operational from Ecclesfield.
Stagecoach Manchester…
A large number of fleet changes have taken place in the last month, which will be reflected in the Allocation Supplement which will be put online next week, with the main changes summarised here Middleton has gained Enviro 400s 19100/01/11 along with Versa Hybrids 25317/25/26 and Enviro 200s 36111/13, but has lost Enviro 400s 19326/42 to Hyde Road and MAN/ALX300 22324 and Optare Solo 47768 to the Reserve Fleet. School bus 29824 has transferred from Middleton to Ashton being replaced with 29829 from Sharston. Enviro 19098 from Ashton is awaiting cascade out of the fleet. Hyde Road Tridents 17520/21/33/35 are also for cascade being replaced by 18145/46/48. Ousted from Hyde Road are 19328/31/32/33/34/53/54 with additions being 19221/22/36/42 and former Stagecoach Oxfordshire Hybrid Enviro 400s 12015/16/21/23/25/26. Gone from Sharston are Tridents 17202 for disposal, 17484, 17500 for cascade and 17699 along with 18110/11 to the Reserve Fleet, whilst now allocated here are Enviro 400s 19331/32/33/34. Versa Hybrid joins the Sharston fleet but school buses 29828/29 have departed to Wigan and Middleton. Optare Solos leaving Ashton are 47559 to Stockport and 47619/20 into the Reserve Fleet. Also in Reserve are MAN/ALX300 - 22392 from Hyde Road; 22324 from Middleton and 22092 from Stockport. Versa Hybrid 25316 is at Sharston. Enviro 400 19328 is now at Stockport Tridents sold to PVS Barnsley are 17273/83, 17325 and 17642. It is understood that 17507/16/19 have transferred out of this fleet.

Optare Solo 47126 has replaced 47121 at Swindon with the latter now for disposal, whilst Scania/Enviro 400 15450 is now at Swindon and 15451 is at Gloucester. 15450 has been replaced at Ross on Wye by Trident 18181 transferred from Stroud. Withdrawn for disposal from Stroud is Dart SLF 33307 whilst Reserve Fleet 34402 is now also for disposal. Optare Solos 47127 and 47356 have been allocated to Stroud. Volvo B10M training coaches 52300 and 52453 are both now in the Reserve Fleet.
East Yorkshire Motor Services…
Volvo B7TL/Plaxton President 666 has been scrapped following extensive fire damage. Dart SLF 303 has returned for a period on loan to East Riding of Yorkshire Council and is now allocated to Hull. Similar 304 has transferred from Pocklington to Hull.
Volvo B7TLs transferred are 714 Hull to Pocklington and 715 Beverley to Hull. Volvo B9TL 743 has moved from Hull to Beverley. Open Top Volvo B7TLs on the move are 884 from Scarborough to Hull and 886 from Bridlington to Hull. 885 at Scarborough has been delicenced. Volvo B8RLE/MCV Evolution 393 has gone on loan to GoSouthCoast.

The two Volvo Olympians recently sold, 16131 and 16151, were sold to Ensign Bus but were immediately sold on. Details of the new owner is awaited.
Stagecoach West Scotland..
Tri-axle Leyland Olympian  13643 is for disposal and has been replaced at Ardrossan by 13632. Also at Ardrossan Scania/Enviro 400 15639 and MAN/Enviro 300 22582 are back in service with 15639 and 22583 now in the Reserve Fleet. Volvo B7R 53300 is out of service for accident repairs. ADL Enviro 300 27596 is back in service at Dumfries as is Optare Solo 47460, but 22587 and 47718 are now in the Reserve Fleet. MAN/ALX300 22390 and Optare Solo 47502 have been written off, whilst Volvo Artic Sleepers 51062/92/97 are now for disposal. Former Stagecoach Oxfordshire Scania/Enviro 400s 15994/95/96 are at Kilmarnock being prepared for service. New here are Van Hool Astromegas 50287-90.

Stagecoach East Midlands…
The remaining two Volvo Olympians at Scunthorpe (16061/63) are now out of use and for disposal. They have been replaced by Tridents 17682/84 which were for disposal. Likewise 17680 which was also awaiting disposal is back in service at Lincoln. Reserve Fleet Trident 18122 has moved from Worksop to Mansfield. Transferred from Gainsborough to Lincoln is Dart SLF 34849 whilst ADL Enviro 300s 27785 and 27790 have been transferred from Lincoln to Gainsborough. We understand that Enviro 300 27205 is to be painted into Hull Flyer colours.
Stagecoach South Wales…
Volvo B10M training coach 52628 is back here and based at Merthyr after a period on loan to Stagecoach West whilst 52633 has been transferred to Blackwood from Merthyr. StreetLite 43001 is back in service at Cwmbran after repairs and likewise Optare Solo 47359 is back in service at Merthyr.
Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire…
There have been a number of changes here, with Trident 17272 now at Chester and 17839 at Birkenhead. 18002 has transferred here from Stagecoach West Scotland and is allocated to Chester. Enviro 200 36802 has transferred from Chester to Birkenhead in exchange for 36805. Optare Solo 47035 is allocated to Birkenhead and 47710 has transferred from Gillmoss to Chester. Volvo B10M training coach 52360 is back in the training fleet at Gillmoss, having been in the Reserve Fleet for the past few months. Optare Solos 47042/43 have been sold. The Reserve Fleet has been significantly reduced and now comprises 28544, 34579, 34782/83, 47081/82/83 and 47753. Scania L94s 28539/42/43 are for conversion to training vehicles, whilst in a welcome move open top Leyland Olympian 14166 has joined the Stagecoach UK Bus Heritage Fleet.
Vehicles surplus here and for disposal or transfer within Stagecoach UK Bus are 17021, 17111/13, 17201, 17501/49/91, 21236/52, 29883/84/85/86/90, 34599, 34600/01, 34741/42/44/45/80.
Stagecoach East…
New Coasthopper-liveried Slimline Optare Solo SRs 48031-36 are registered YJ66ARZ, ASO/U/V/X/Z). They are expected to enter service from King’s Lynn depot next weekend.
Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire…
Former Stagecoach North East Enviro 400s 19141/43 were due to enter service from West Cumbria today, whilst 19146 is currently back with Stagecoach North East for maintenance repairs. The repainting of Scania/Enviro 400s 15818/19/20 has been completed and they are due to be moved to Morecambe for service.

Further arrivals here from Tower Transit are Geminis LK04HZD, which will carry fleet number WD443 and LK04HYV for which confirmation of the fleet number is awaited.

New ADL Enviro 400MMCs 10671/72/74-83 are now at Oxford, allowing Enviro 400 Hybrids 12018/19/21/25 to transfer to Stagecoach Manchester with 12020/21 to follow. Scania/Enviro 400s 15994/95/96 have moved to Stagecoach West Scotland.
Optare Solo 47451 is in the Reserve Fleet from Witney whilst 47658 from Oxford is due to be taken out of service transferred to Stagecoach East Scotland. Look out for three ADL E20D/Enviro 200s here, 36451 (Banbury) and 36453/54 (Oxford) being taken out of service for transfer to Stagecoach East Midlands. Gold specification Scania/Enviro 400s 15838 and 15966 have transferred from Witney to Oxford, whilst Enviro 400s 36763/74 are due to move from Oxford to Banbury. Dart SLF 34466 at Banbury is due to be taken out of service for disposal.

We understand the Dart SLFs loaned from Peterborough to Bedford last week were 34549 and 34880/82. Also at Bedford was Smartcard-branded Dart SLF 33305 from the Cambridge Reserve Fleet.

Stagecoach East…
It has been confirmed to Steven Knight Media that the first replacement vehicles for the Cambridge Park & Ride services will be delivered in December. They will be standard ADL E40D/Enviro 400MMCs. The plan for hybrid flywheel technology vehicles have been abandoned. It is understood that the new vehicles will take the fleet number series 10789-10810. The 22 existing Enviro 400s will be cascaded out to other Stagecoach UK Bus companies with Stagecoach East Midlands confirming that it will be taking 14 examples, which after conversion to single door layout will be allocated to Lincoln.
