Stagecoach East Scotland Volvo B5LH 13046 is currently out of service following collision damage. Stagecoach East Midlands Reserve Fleet MAN/ALX300 at Hull 22360 is now for disposal here. Stagecoach East Cambridge-allocated Enviro 400 19586 is currently operating from Bedford depot. This may be as a result of five Enviro 400s showing on tracking as being used on the X5 service today, with six of the route’s coaches shown as not allocated to duties. We have had several reports suggesting that Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 44009 has been in use today on Cambridge Citi 7 service. Stagecoach UK Bus
Stagecoach East Midlands The entry into service of ADL Enviro 200MMC 11.8m 26263/70-75 at Hull has seen the remaining main fleet operational MAN/ALX300s, 22385 and 22417/18 withdrawn for disposal leaving just 22360 of the type in the Reserve Fleet at Hull. 22415 which had been delicenced is also now for disposal as is previously delicensed Trident 17723. Also transferred from the main fleet to the Reserve Fleet at Hull are Dart SLFs 35146/48/49. Volvo B7TLs 16907 and 16944 along with Volvo B7RLEs 21213/14 from the Seasonal Reserve Fleet are now allocated to Skegness. Stagecoach UK Bus
Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire The company reports that ADL Enviro 400MMC 10572 has been transferred from Gilmoss to Birkenhead, whilst also at Birkenhead is Dart SLF 34820. Now in the Reserve Fleet is Optare Solo 47622 from Preston whilst Scania L94 training vehicle 28540 is at Chester and MAN/ALX300 training bus 22077is at Gilmoss. Reserve Fleet Dart SLF 34747 has been allocated to the training school at Gilmoss. Stagecoach UK Bus Stagecoach South Wales Double decks are to join this fleet with the transfer of three Tridents from Stagecoach East Scotland. 18006/07/08 are currently at Ferrymill Motors being fitted with seat belts for schools work. They are replacements for the Volvo B10M coaches here. Stagecoach East Scotland Scania Omnicitys 15054/61/68/69 are now on the allocation at Aberhill, having replaced Enviro 400s 19018/40/54/61 which have transferred to Stagecoach Manchester. The remaining nine Scania Omnicitys converted to single door layout - 15021/52/58/60/66/67/70/71/72 - are also at Aberhill being prepared for service. They are also expected to replace Enviro 400s at the depot. Enviro 400 10002 has returned to Blairgowrie following refurbishment whilst Trident 18093 is now in the Rennies fleet. Previously for disposal here, MAN/ALX300 22367 is now earmarked for training bus conversion. Stagecoach Manchester The influx of tridents to this fleet has now started with 18372 and 18440/41/42 moving from the Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire fleet last week. Also transferred from Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire last Thursday was 18361. A further six Tridents have now been identified for transfer here from Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire - 18325/26/27/58/60/65. Go Ahead Group Go North East The Go North East website reports repaints in week ending July 28th 2019 included Optare Solo M880/Optare 702 into ‘Little Coasters’ livery and Scania CN230UB/Scania Omnicitys 5268 /69 into the 2019 fleet livery. An outstanding transfer from last week was Optare Solo M890/Optare 647 which) has transferred from Consett to Deptford, releasing similar 650 to Percy Main. Chester Road at Bournmoor will be closed westbound (towards Chester-le-Street) from Monday 29 July until Friday 27 September to allow for road reconstruction and utility works in conjunction with the new housing development at this location. During this closure; Services 4, 78 & 78A will be unable to serve Bournmoor (4, 78 & 78A) or Fence Houses (4) in a southerly direction. As such; a shuttle bus will be in operation, run from Washington Depot. Optare Solo M890/Optare 724 will be the vehicle allocated, so this bus has transferred from Percy Main Depot to Washington. Scania L94UB/Wright Solars 4932/69 have been withdrawn from service at Deptford. The former will be sold for scrap, but the latter is expected to be sold on for further use. Repaints during week ending July 21st 2019 included Optare Solo M880/Optare 701 into ‘Little Coasters’ livery, and the final ‘Whey Aye Five 0’ branded Scania CN230UB/Scania Omnicity, 5259 into the 2019 fleet livery. A number of the buses which were repainted into the 2016 fleet livery, but not fitted with advert frames, are due to return for repaint in the coming weeks to have these fitted, and will also receive a partial repaint into the 2019 fleet livery for consistency. A large number of vehicle movements have taken place in line with the start of the school holidays. Summarised below: With surplus double-decks now being available at Deptford, East Lancs OmniDekka bodied Scania N94UDs 6126/27/29 have returned to Riverside, enabling Plaxton President bodied Volvo B7TLs 9072/73/74 to be withdrawn. Whilst building and facilities work is being carried out at Washington Depot, the operation of the Miscellaneous Works and additional peak-time commercial services that the depot operates, has transferred to Deptford. Along with this work, Wright Eclipse Gemini bodied Volvo B7TLs 3962/63/64 have transferred to Deptford, as well as Mercedes Citaro 0530N/Mercedes Citaro 5487/ Scania L94UB/Wright Solar 4932 has transferred from Chester-le-Street Depot to Deptford, as a replacement vehicle for Scania L94UB/Wright Solar 5201 which has been withdrawn from service. Wright Streetlite DF/Wright Streetlite Max Micro-Hybrid 5420 has transferred to Deptford in a float/reserve capacity over the summer holidays, and Scania L94UB/Wright Solar 5215 has been withdrawn as a consequence. The reduction in service levels on ‘Toon Link’ service 6 saw the transfer of Scania CN230UB/Scania Omnicity 5250 to Chester-le-Street. Service changes in the Stanley area saw the transfer of Optare Solo M890/Optare 648 from Consett to Deptford and Optare Solo M880/Optare 697 to Riverside. 651 transferred from Deptford to Percy Main as a result, with Scania CN230UBScania Omnicity 5267/68 transferring to Chester- le-Street in lieu. The loss of the contract to operate service 5 between Jarrow and North Shields saw the transfer of Scania CN230UB/Scania Omnicity 5262 from Washington to Chester-le-Street. Stagecoach UK Bus
Stagecoach East Midlands Enviro 200 36007 is now back it Worksop depot having been repainted in corporate livery. Previously it carried the yellow/green Sherwood Arrow livery and was named ‘The Friar Tuck’. It is understood there are plans to use larger vehicles on the Sherwood Arrow service. Stagecoach North East Open top Trident 17645 has returned to use at Walkergate. Enviro 400 19437 has transferred from Walkergate to Sunderland whilst also at Sunderland is MAN/ALX300 training vehicle 22071 which has transferred from South Shields. Stagecoach Yorkshire MAN/ALX300 22445, which had been for disposal, has been reinstated and is allocated to Barnsley. Scania/Enviro 400 15690 is back in service at Chesterfield following repairs with 15688 now stood down for maintenance attention. Stagecoach North Scotland Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 44021 has transferred from Peterhead to Aberdeen displacing Optare Solo SR 47876 to Insch which in turn has displaced 47875 to Peterhead. Back in service at Insch following repairs is Optare Solo 47604. The remains of Volvo B7Rs 53239 and 53263 are being scrapped. ![]() Stagecoach UK Bus Stagecoach South West Open Top Trident 17701 has received branding for route 222 Teignmouth to Dawlish Warren, whilst recently repainted and in use at Exeter is Reserve Fleet Optare Solo 47100. Recent transfers reported include Optare Solos 47084 to Exeter, 47101 to Plymouth along with Scania/Enviro 400s 15893 from Torquay to Exeter in exchange for 15901. Currently undergoing body repairs and expected to receive a full repaint is Optare Solo 47099. Stagecoach South East
This fleet is the latest to be allocated Scania OmniCitys being cascaded out of London with 15049 and 15056 being due for transfer. It is understood that more may follow. Stagecoach Midlands Another two Reserve Fleet Dart SLFs to leave this fleet and be transferred to Stagecoach West are 34815 and 34816. Stagecoach Oxfordshire There are reports that ADL Enviro 200MMC 37401 is due to receive traditional Midland Red livery as part off celebrations to mark 100 years of Banbury garage. Stagecoach London The company reports that Trident 17861 is another of the type to be transferred to Stagecoach Manchester, presumably for charity donation. Sold are Trident 17368 to South East Bus Sales; Tridents 17426, 17989, 18205/68/72 and 18454/55/72/88 to Lister PSV and Scania OmniCitys 15018/20/53/64/65 and 15121 to Ensign Bus. Out of service here and pending reallocation are New Bus for London LT271/72 and LT462 (61271/72, 61462). Stagecoach UK Bus
Stagecoach West Back in service at Stroud following the Euro 6 engine mod are MAN/Enviro 300s 22745 and 22747 whilst Enviro 200 36376 is transferred from the Reserve Fleet to the main fleet at Gloucester as a replacement for 36079 which has moved to the Reserve Fleet. Dart SLDFs 34817 and 35174, which have transferred here from Stagecoach Midlands, are in the Reserve Fleet at Gloucester. MAN/Enviro 300 22848 has been sold. Stagecoach Manchester Sometimes we are taken by surprise when companies confirm transfers and this is one of those times. Three MAN/Enviro 200s, 39690/91/93, have transferred here from Stagecoach Midlands and are in the Reserve Fleet. Also transferred to the Reserve Fleet here are Enviro 400s 19018/40/54/61 from Stagecoach East Scotland. Stagecoach East Midlands The company has advised the ADL Enviro 200MMC 26263 had been registered YW19VTL rather than the planned YW19VRM.
