Stagecoach East… Reserve Fleet MAMN/ALX300 22329 has now joined 22332 at Cambridge, whilst former Peterborough Dart SLF 35106 is now in service from Bedford. Stagecoach Midlands… Optare Solo 47014 has been transferred to Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire. Stagecoach North East… Further ADL Enviro 400MMCs have been delivered with 10631-34 now at Walkergate and 10642/43 at Slatyford. Stagecoach East Scotland… Volvo Olympian 16763 and Trident 17654 have been scrapped and Tridents 17335/47 and Mercedes-Benz Touro 59643 have been sold. Volvo Olympian 16771 has transferred from Blairgowrie to Perth as a replacement for 16763, whist also now at Perth is Trident 17708. Optare Versas returned to service are 25262 at Dundee and 25265/67 at Dunfermline. Enviro 300s 27540/41 are out of use at Dunfermline and in the Reserve Fleet. Optare Solo 47051 is now allocated to Perth and recently received Dart SLFs 35240/41 are in Reserve at Wellwood. Coaches 53717 and 54231-34 have transferred from Dundee to Arbroath. MAN/ALX300s 22317 (from Bedford) and 22332 (from the Reserve Fleet, but latterly used at Peterborough) have been in use at Cambridge this week. Unusual vehicle workings in recent weeks have seen Optare Solo 47659, a City Sightseeing open top Trident and at least one Park & Ride Enviro 400 being used on Citi services in Cambridge. Stagecoach Midlands… Former Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire Tridents 18150/51/52 are now allocated to Northampton, whilst similar 18149 is expected to be allocated to Northampton after completion of engine repairs. Optare Solo 47043 is confirmed as transferring to Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire but is now awaiting disposal there. Optare Solos sold to Ensign Bus are 47012/13/39 - 47012 had latterly been used as a staff shuttle at Stratford. Stagecoach East Midlands… The vehicles recently sold - 16066, 16133, 17362, 17648, 18285, 22110/88, 22278 and 52379 - are confirmed as sold to AH Hardwick. Stagecoach Yorkshire… The company is planning a running day with its’ Dennis Tridents and Open Top Fleetline 15513 in Chesterfield on Saturday August 13th. The buses will operate on Chesterfield services 25 and 84, and it is planned to use one of the buses on the 2005 service 77 from Chesterfield to Worksop, returning at 2135. A further vehicle planned to take part is the Stagecoach East Megadekka 14000 from Bedford depot. Details are below and the Stagecoach in Chesterfield document can be downloaded using the link below. Information updated on July 29th 2016 at 11:30 Stagecoach Yorkshire… We have had confirmation that all the new Enviro 200MMCs due for Chesterfield are now at the depot and they will enter service in a week’s time. 26081-84 will carry route branding for the 54 service whilst 26085-87 will be unbranded allow use on services 54 and 74. Acquired here from Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire are 8.9m Enviro 200s 36071 and 36072. They have been allocated to Barnsley depot. Stagecoach North East… The first two ADL Enviro 400MMCs - 10631/32 - have been delivered to Walkergate depot. Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire... The first batch of Optare Solos being transferred from Stagecoach Oxfordshire currently in transit and should be 47237, 47394 and 47454. East Yorkshire Motor Services... Former Whittles Volvo B10BLE/ALX300 317 has been painted in the Riviera blue and primrose colours of East Yorkshire Coaches.

Stagecoach South East… Most of the vehicles here for disposal have been sold - 16014/23/25/90, 16298, 16344/65/86, 16745, 17107, 17619 and 34461. Trident 17629 is withdrawn from Dover and now awaits disposal as do 17659/62/66 which were in the Reserve Fleet. Reserve Fleet Tridents now in service are 17634 (Thanet), 17663 (Hastings), 17664 and 18292 (Eastbourne) and 17665 (Dover). MAN/ALX300 22279 is transferred from the Reserve Fleet to Thanet replacing 22946 which is now in Reserve. Stagecoach Bluebird… New Enviro 400MMC 10533 is in service at Aberdeen, but 10527 is now reported as moving from Aberdeen to the Reserve Fleet. Volvo B7R 53270 is out of service at Elgin for repairs being replaced by 53265 whilst 53226 is now in the Reserve Fleet being replaced at Aberdeen by 53268. Stagecoach Highlands… Volvo B7R 53261 is now allocated to Fort William, replacing 53333 which is out of service for repairs whilst Dennis javelin 27055 has been taken out of service at Skye and awaits disposal. Stagecoach West Scotland… Tri-Axle Leyland Olympians 16318/32/42/43 are transferred to the Reserve Fleet for the School Holidays. Volvo B7R 53303 has transferred to Stagecoach Highlands and is at Ferrymill Motors, whilst Dart SLFs 35240/41 have transferred to Stagecoach East Scotland with 34542 to follow. Optare Solos 47365/88 are due to transfer to Stagecoach West. 47502 is out of service with fire damage. Volvo B7Rs transferred are 53299 from Ayr to Stranraer and 53300 from Arran to Ardrossan. Optare Solos sold and no longer part of the fleet are 47123 along with 47759 and 47760. Scania/Enviro 400 15496 is transferred Cumbernauld to Ardrossan with MAN/ALX300 22386 moving from Ardrossan to the Reserve Fleet. Former Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire Optare Versas 25226/27 have been allocated to Stranraer with 25228 going to Dumfries. Finally here sleeper coaches 50307/10 are back in use at Cumbernauld with 50303 now out of service. Stagecoach Yorkshire… We understand that delivery of seven 11.8m Enviro 200MMCs to Chesterfield depot is imminent. 26081-07 have been built at Scarborough, rather than Falkirk, and will have YY16xxx registrations. Stagecoach Manchester… We are now able to confirm that ADL E400MMCs 10598-602 and 10605-608 are now in service at Ashton. 10603 is awaiting delivery whilst 10604 has been seen at Stockport for staff familiarisation prior to delivery of 10618-30. At Hyde Road 10609-15 are all in service with delivery of 10616/17 expected after the Falkirk Summer Holiday shutdown. Information updated on July 28th 2016 at 15:45 Stagecoach South West… The closure of Exmouth depot has seen the allocation of 23 vehicles transferred to Exeter (17701/35/36, 15251-60, 37028-33 and 47100-03). Scania/Enviro 400 is transferred from Torquay to Exeter and Reserve Fleet Trident 18066 is allocated to Exeter. Dart SLF 33865 is at Exeter, with 34777 transferred from Exeter to Plymouth. Optare Solo 47092 from the Reserve Fleet has replaced 47099 at Exeter. Stagecoach South East… We have received a report that Ashford depot has started to receive 30 Mercedes Benz Sprinter City 45 minibuses. The three reported at the depot so far are registered BP16UWO/T/V. Thamesdown Transport… Thamesdown has sold Dennis Dart SPD/Plaxton Pointer 194/6 (Y194/6 VMR) and 199 (WV02 NNB) to Wigley (dealer). Stagecoach West… Scania/Enviro 400 15649 has been severely damaged by fire. Enviro 200 36385 has transferred from Cheltenham to Stroud, with Trident 18437 moving from Stroud to the Reserve Fleet. Another Volvo Olympian here has been withdrawn - 16496. Trident 18083 is back in service at Gloucester whilst Optare Solo 47357 has been allocated to Cheltenham. Stagecoach South Wales… Route trials with Stagecoach East Scotlands’s Scania OmniLink 24007 have been completed and the vehicle has been returned. It was soon en-route at Stagecoach West’s Swindon depot on July 24th. Stagecoach East… Bedford’s Optare Solo 47411 is currently on loan to Peterborough for a shuttle service linking Farcet and Yaxley during a major road closure affecting service 5 City-Yaxley which is being diverted away from the affected area. The diversion is due to be in place until next weekend. Whippet… Now withdrawn and taken away for scrap is Volvo Olympian P721GND, whilst it is understood that due for imminent withdrawal is Volvo B7TL H18WCL. Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire… Look out for Optare Solos 47002/04/08 and 47246 being transferred here in the next few weeks. Now out of service and likely to be withdrawn are Tridents 17036 and 17246. Stagecoach South Wales… Following conversion to a training bus dart SLF 34350 is now allocated to Blackwood, whilst similar 34347 is now also in the training fleet and allocated to Porth. Optare Solo 47286 is now in the Reserve Fleet being replaced in the Porth allocation by 47361. Similar 47359 is now allocated to Cwmbran from Reserve and 47345 is back in service at Merthyr following modifications. 50241 is shown by the company as being at Van Hool in Belgium. The planned cascade of Optare Versa 25215 to Stagecoach West has been cancelled and it remains for disposal, although it has recently been repainted. Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire… Scania/Enviro 400 15473 is now back in service at Preston with new Enviro 200MMCs 26050-62 all now in service at Chester. Dart SLFs 34579 and 34742 have transferred from Chester to the Reserve Fleet with 34743/81/97/98 transferring from Gillmoss to Chester along with Optare Solos 47709/3. Transferred from Preston to the Reserve Fleet are Optare Solos 47081 and 47494. Vehicles sold are 16235. 17019, 17448/49, 20602, 21252, 29889 and 47743. Stagecoach Manchester… The six Enviro 400s for cascade within Stagecoach UK Bus (19004/80/82/83/84/88) are due to transfer to Stagecoach Midlands, whilst surplus Tridents 17452/99 are for Stagecoach East Scotland and 17698 for Stagecoach South. Other fleet changes here will see Enviro 400s 19266-69/87 move to the Reserve Fleet; 19112-17 transfer from Ashton to Middleton; 19261/62/64/65 from Ashton to Hyde Road and 19349-52 from Hyde Road to Ashton. New Enviro 400MMCs 10597-605 are confirmed by the company as allocated to Ashton with 10609-12 at Hyde Road. A number of Tridents are withdrawn for disposal - 17068, 17200/42/44/45 from Middleton and 17269/73, 17331. 17641/42/44/46 from Hyde Road. Information updated on July 27th 2016 at 09:40 Stagecoach North East… The double deck fleet at Stockton (Volvo Olympians 16834/36 and Tridents 17025-29/32) are all out of service and in the Reserve Fleet, whilst Reserve Fleet MAN/ALX300 22012 is now at Stockton. Slatyford now has MAN/ALX300s 22067/70 and MAN/Enviro 200 39706 in service which has resulted in MAN/ALX300s 22027/28/31 being placed into the Reserve Fleet. Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire… Optare Solo 47005 is now for disposal here, as is former Training MAN/ALX300 22121 and Trident 17024. Vehicles sold are 20905, 22814, 34220/21, 46690. Dart SLFs recently received from Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire 34801 and 34802 are in service at Kendal and Carlisle. Scania/Enviro 400s 15723-29 displaced from the 555 service are currently being prepared for transfer within the fleet. Information updated on July 27th 2016 at 11:55 Stagecoach Manchester… Enviro 400s 19085/91/98 which were expected to be made available for cascade to other Stagecoach UK Bus companies are currently being retained here and are allocated to Ashton. Two Tridents that were planned for disposal remain in use here, 17067 at Middleton and 17507 at Hyde Road. Volvo B7TL 16971 remains allocated to Middleton whilst Enviro 400 19265 is in Reserve with 19287 on the allocation of Sharston. Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire… The company has confirmed that Optare Solo 47043, received from Stagecoach Midlands, is still in the fleet but is awaiting disposal, whilst Volvo B10M training coach 52360 is now in the Reserve Fleet. Information updated on July 27th 2016 at 12:45 Stagecoach London… Tridents 17909/12-15/17-19/21/25/26 along with 18236-38/40/53/56 have been returned to Lombard Leasing with Enviro 200s 36268-79 being returned to Lloyds Leasing. Training Fleet Trident 17808 is now for disposal whilst 17398 from the training fleet has been sold to Lister PSV. Also sold to Lister PSV are Tridents 17792/93, 17830/35/46/68/74 which had been on loan to Stagecoach South and Stagecoach West. Enviro 400s 19748/52/53 and 19824/25/27 have transferred from Plumstead to Romford replacing Tridents 17765/68/69/72/77/78 and 17854 which are for return to the leasing company. Trident 17816 is out of service for accident damage repair, being replaced at West Ham by 17990. New vehicles awaiting entry into service are Enviro 200MMCs 36609 (for Route 146), 36615-17 (for Route 146/336) and 36610-14/18-21 (for Route 336). Enviro 400 Hybrids being prepared for Route 53 are 12365/66/68/69/73/78/80/82/83/84/86/88-99, 12400. Similar 12367/70/71/72/74/75/76/77/79/81/85/87 are now allocated to Plumstead. We are now able to confirm the individual names carried by the Sherwood Arrow vehicles. 36001 is named The Maid Marian 36005 is named The Robin Hood 36006 is named The Sherrif of Nottingham 36007 is named The Friar Tuck Note that each name on the vehicles carries 'The' prefix. We can also confirm that Enviro 200s 36001-04 in the fleet are have a B35F seating layout. 36005 was the vehicle on display at New Ollerton yesterday to promote the Sherwood Arrow service. The buses have also had their moquette seating replaced by e-leather.

Stagecoach Yorkshire... The conversion to a driver training vehicle has been completed on MAN/ALX300 22087 and it is now part of the training fleet at Chesterfield. Stagecoach East Midlands… Two further ex Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire Volvo B7RLEs reported in service at Grimsby are 21264 and 21270. Whippet… The latest pair of Geminis delivered are LK04HYW/X, now numbered WD437/8. Along with 439 (LK04HYN) they are three of six buses being vinyled up for the UNIVERSAL service (latterly Stagecoach service Uni4 ) which Whippet starts operating from tomorrow. Also due in November are 7 Brand NEW Volvo B8RLEs with Wright Eclipse 2 bodywork to a High-Spec for the UNIVERSAL service. Information updated on July 22nd 2016 at 13:40 Stagecoach Oxfordshire… The reduction in bus service support has resulted in a service reductions here which has resulted in ten Optare Solos becoming surplus. All ten are due to transfer to Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire - 47237/39, 47394/95, 47449/50/52/53/54/55. Inter-depot transfer here are of Optare Solos with 47735/36 due for transfer from Oxford to Banbury with 47658 moving from Banbury to Oxford. Look out for the four Enviro 200s (37210-14) which have been used on the Cambridge Uni4 service transferring to Peterborough. Stagecoach East Midlands… The arrival of Volvo B7RLE 21264 at Grimsby from Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire completes the cascade of 14 vehicles of this type to Stagecoach East Midlands. Stagecoach Midlands… Volvo Olympians 16694 and 16696 were both operational from Northampton yesterday, with 16698 and 16699 confirmed as parked up at Northampton’s Main Road depot. We now understand that 16694/96 could see further use this week but that the plan is for them to be parked up at the end of the week. Stagecoach East… The new Slimline Optare Solo SRs expected here for Coasthopper duties from Kink’s Lynn are now expected to be delivered in August. Originally they were due this month. The six vehicles will carry the new style of Coasthopper livery and will be numbered 48031-48036. Information updated on July 20th 2016 at 16:00 Stagecoach East Midlands… The company advises that it plans to withdraw Lincoln-allocated Volvo Olympian 16151 for disposal tomorrow, whilst Skegness-based Trident 17688 which is off the road will also be withdrawn for disposal. Look out for Tridents 17046/63 being transferred from Lincoln to Skegness. Stagecoach South East is converting two Tridents to open top for a new seasonal service in Thanet and in a nod to the company's history it painting the vehicles in a traditional East Kent livery. Meanwhile at Stagecoach East Scotland a batch of Optare Versas are being completely refurbished and re-liveried for the Jet 747 service. The photographs below have been supplied by Stagecoach. Stagecoach East Midlands… A further Volvo Olympian authorised for withdrawal and disposal is Lincoln’s 16131, with the same fate also awaiting Trident 17670. They are being replaced by Trident 18391 and Volvo B7TL 16906 which will transfer from Grimsby following the entry into service there of former Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire Volvo B7RLEs 21263 and 21275. A further two B7RLEs to arrive at Grimsby from Merseyside are 21266/67, which are being prepared for service. Volvo B7Rs 53210 and 53216 have now been converted to training vehicles and the plan is to allocated 53210 to Lincoln and 53216 to Grimsby. Stagecoach West Scotland… Optare Solo 47124, which is due for cascade to Stagecoach East Midlands was reported in service from Kilmarnock depot over the weekend but is expected to move south to Lincoln depot this week. Stagecoach Midlands… Despite its relegation to the Reserve Fleet (on paper at least) in June, Leamington’s Volvo Olympian 16873 remained in service on main duties in early July and on 4th was on a service 50 working to Shipton. On the same date, Stratford’s 16460 was hard at work on an X18 Stratford-Coventry working. Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire… The conversion of MAN/ALX300 22822 to a training vehicle is now complete and it is due in the paintshop this week for painting in driver training livery. Reports have also been received advising that Volvo Olympian 16661 is on loan to West Cumbria from Barrow. Information updated on July 18th 2016 at 13:35 Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire… Optare Solos 47742 and 47744 have been donated for use outside of Stagecoach Group and are currently in store at Stagecoach West Scotland’s Dumfries depot. Stagecoach Manchester… Reports received are that Middleton’s Optare Solo 47774 is the latest vehicle to be used on the Weatherfield Wayfarer (ITV Coronation Street) service. East Yorkshire Motor Services… Latest information from the company records the sale of coach 68, whilst Dart SLFs 302 and 303 are on loan to East Riding of Yorkshire Council and Hybrid Enviro 400 902 has become the second of the type to be delicenced. Saloon 392 is now allocated to Scarborough. Yesterday evening when the last four examples at the depot 16694/96/98/99 returned to the depot they reportedly had their ticket machines removed. 16699 was, however, back out today running shuttle services in connection with the bus event at Wellingborough Museum. 16696 was, however, in service on July 19th on Northampton service 17. Information updated on July 15th 2016 at 15:10 Stagecoach East Midlands… Another two Volvo Olympians withdrawn for disposal are 16169 at Lincoln and 16465 at Scunthorpe, they have been replaced by 16901 (Lincoln) and 16918 (Scunthorpe) which have transferred over from Grimsby. The entry into service of former Grimsby Tridents 18318-20 at Lincoln has allowed the withdrawal for disposal of 18284/87/93. Trident 17688 has transferred from Lincoln to Skegness. Further ex Stagecoach London Tridents acquired for spares are 17829/67/69 which had latterly been on loan to Stagecoach South and Stagecoach West. Further Volvo B7RLEs received from Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire are 21263/75, whilst now in use at Grimsby is 21271. The transfer of Optare Solo 47124 from Stagecoach West Scotland has taken place and the vehicle is now at Lincoln being prepared for service. Now in service at Lincoln are Optare Solos 47170/71/72, whilst 47163 and 47246 are now in the Reserve Fleet at Scunthorpe. |
