It has emerged that both Stagecoach West and Stagecoach Oxfordshire have sent different vehicles to Stagecoach Yorkshire, for Supertram replacement work, from those that were expected. Stagecoach West has sent Trident 2/Enviro 400 19128 (not 19129) and Stagecoach Oxfordshire has sent Scania/Enviro 400 15438 (not 15435).
Back to Stagecoach West and Dave Russell & Deric Pemberton report that Dart SLF 33942 has continued to see service at Swindon despite it being regarded by the company as for disposal. As a result we are now showing it as a Reserve Fleet vehicle on our Allocation Supplement. A further trident in this fleet to lose its service 46/93 branding is 18321. At Stagecoach South Wales five former Oxford Tube Van Hool Astromegas have arrived from Stagecoach West Scotland - 50204/21-24. MAN/Enviro 300s 22787/90/92-94 are additional vehicles to have left this fleet on transfer to Scotland. Optare Solo 47642 is out of service and at Smiles Engineering for engine upgrade. At Stagecoach Oxfordshire Reserve Fleet Dart SLF 33651 is reported to have moved from Banbury to Oxford. The Seasonal fleet at Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire is now back in service. Former Stagecoach London Trident 17495 is back at Carlisle after open top conversion and single door conversion and is undergoing repaint. Open top Tridents 17012-16 have has additional bike racks installed which allows up to four bikes to be carried on each vehicle. MAN 22596 and Trident 18380 have transferred from West Cumbria to Morecambe. Repairs on Reserve Fleet Volvo B10M 20459 have been halted and the vehicle is now for disposal. Olympian 16714 has been sold. Also withdrawn for disposal are MAN/ALX300s 22824/25 from Morecambe. The three former Preston Bus Optare Solos that have transferred to Stagecoach East Midlands from Stagecoach Manchester are 47754/68/74 - all three have been allocated to Lincoln. Staying with Stagecoach East Midlands, five MAN/ALX300s have transferred to the Reserve Fleet, 22278 and 22365 from Lincoln along with 22306/07/09 from Gainsborough, whilst 22360/79/82 from the Reserve Fleet are now allocated to Hull. It is understood that the MAN/ALX300 type here is to be concentrated at Hull. The replacement for the ALX300s are ADL Enviro 300s ousted from Hull with 27785/86 moving to Lincoln and 27787/88/89 moving to Gainsborough. ADL E20D/Enviro 200 37203 has returned to service at Grimsby following repairs. Former Megabus Plus coaches 52678 and 53021 are to join the Rail Replacement fleet at Lincoln. The former Stagecoach East Volvo B9R/Plaxton Panther coaches 53601-05 are now at Hull for Megabus Plus duties. As a result of accident damage Trident 17679 is now for disposal. We are advised that the three ex Stagecoach London Tridents that turned up at Hull recently, 17503/88/89, were purely for spares and are now listed as awaiting disposal. East Yorkshire Motor Services Training unit has named its new double deck training vehicle 9915 'Hope', whilst the ADL Enviro 400 MMC demonstrator, YX64VOO, which was expected in Hull last week has now arrived and will stay here for two weeks. It has been given temporary fleet number 134. The last Optare Solo, and indeed the last minibus, in the fleet 423 has been withdrawn and sold. Further information from Stagecoach East Midlands is that former Lincoln City Tour Volvo Olympian 16314 has gained a pink-based livery and the Hattie the Seasider name. It is currently in Skegness. You wait for ages and then fleet information comes thick and fast…

The transfer of 13 East Lancs-bodied Tridents is already underway with 17648-50, 18281-89/93 doe to transfer. All were previously operated on the Magicbus network in Manchester and carry Magicbus livery. A Volvo Olympian reinstated to service is 16118 which has been allocated to West Cumbria, whilst ADL E40D/Enviro 400 10030 is expected to be transferred to Stagecoach Manchester, but will then go on loan to Stagecoach Yorkshire for Supertram replacement works, which will require 17 buses and will start on March 28th. Also look out for a large number of MAN/Enviro 300s being cascaded to Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire to replace MAN/ALX300s. A large number of Optare Solos in this fleet are now in the later-style livery with the white front. Seats are being trimmed in Stagecoach design moquette but with leather headrests Stagecoach has today announced its new bus orders for 2015/16.
