At Grimsby Enviro 400 19073 has returned to service following completion of accident repairs, with Enviro 200 37196 now delicenced for accident damage repairs. Trident 18028 has been transferred from Hull to the Reserve Fleet at Mansfield.

We are pleased to report that EYMS has announced that after around eighteen months out of service, Heritage fleet Willowbrook-bodied AEC Regent V 644 (VKH44) is now being returned to operational use.  A replacement AEC engine has been sourced and fitted, and following testing and a tidy up 644 should be ready to hit the road again.

Latest recipient of the purple/lilac Hop 2 livery is Scania/Enviro 400 15896 with 15897 expected to be the next vehicle to be repainted. The old-style Hop 2 branding has been removed from Enviro 400 19102.

We understand that the company has placed a further order with ADL for five Scarborough-based Enviro 200MMCs. They are expected to be delivered later this year.

➨Stagecoach UK Bus 2017/18 new vehicle orders
The various Stagecoach UK Bus subsidiary companies are currently setting their budgets for the 2017/18 financial year. The current work will confirm that bids for new vehicles, which have already been made, have been agreed. The full order details are not expected to be confirmed by Stagecoach Group, however, until all the budget planning work has been completed and signed off.
We are aware, however, that new Enviro 400MMCs for the Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire fleet have been agreed and delivery of 33 vehicles, with fleet numbers from 10811, will start imminently.

The four Dennis Trident/ALX 400 Double Deckers acquired from Stagecoach Manchester for conversion to partial Open Top to replace the Northern Counties Leyland Olympians used on City Sightseeing duties at Slatyford are now almost complete.
17240 (X368 NN0) - was repainted into Overall Red Livery and was at Slatyford by 11th November 2016.
17239 (X239 NNO) & 17643 (W643 RND) - were repainted into Overall Red Livery and returned to Slatyford on 15th December 2016.
17645 (W645 RND) - was repainted into Overall Red Livery and returned to Slatyford on Friday 13th January 2017.
All four vehicles now just require the application of Newcastle & Gateshead City Sightseeing Graphics.
The fifth vehicle transferred from Stagecoach Manchester, 17647 (W647 RND), remains in undercover storage at Stockton Depot and was acquired as a source of spares for the other four vehicles.

As expected, Optare Versas 25210/11/12 have now transferred to Stagecoach East Scotland. Reserve Fleet vehicles back in service are Optare Solos 47283 and 47250 at Cwmbran and Dart SLFs 34503/04/10/12 at Merthyr. Scania/Enviro 300 28723 has transferred from Cwmbran to Blackwood with Optare Solo 47639 now allocated to Caerphilly. Dart SLFs 34751/52 and 35199 are now all in the Reserve Fleet from Merthyr.

Further Gold-specification Enviro 400MMCs in service from Oxford are 10782-88. Look out for Enviro 200 36770 transferring from Oxford to Banbury. The company has released corrected information on its Dart SLFs which suggest 34467/72 are available for service at Banbury with 34668/69/71 being in the Reserve Fleet.

The Races Reserve Volvo Olympian fleet has been displaced with 16099 now for disposal and 16128 reportedly sold for preservation. Three Tridents here, 17722/28/29, are reported as being on loan to Stagecoach Midlands whilst Optare Versa 25216 is the latest of the type to enter service at Gloucester. The remaining Optare Solo to be received from Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire arrived here on January 6th.

Now sold is MAN/ALX300 22827.
Tridents 17196/99 have been taken out of service at West Cumbria and transferred to the Reserve Fleet. They have been replaced at West Cumbria by Enviro 400s 19141/43.
Following the transfer of Reserve Fleet Optare Solos 47239, 47450/94 and 47721/22 to Reserve Fleet at West Cumbria three Solos, 47020/23/24 have been stood down and transferred to the Reserve Fleet although we suspect they will be offered for disposal in the near future. The transfer of 47721/22 is understood to be in advance of the transfer of some seasonal work from Carlisle on which these two Solos are used.
Look out for Volvo Olympian 16651 remaining as an operational vehicle following the authorisation of seat belt fitment.
The two Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 45s which are on loan, BT15KLZ and BX14LDD have been allocated fleet numbers 80031 and 80032. The former is being used from Kendal with 80032 as a spare vehicle.

New vehicles into service are ADL Enviro 200MMCs 506-09 at Scarborough and Volvo B5TL/MCVs 798-803 at Withernsea. Delicenced for disposal are MAN/ALX300s 324-29 and Dart SLF 471 from Hull whilst sold are Dart SLFs 333 and 478 along with Enterprise Plasma 497. Enviro 200s 504 and 505 have transferred from Scarborough to Hull with Volvo B9TLs 735/37/38/53/96/97 being displaced by the new Volvo B5TLs at Withernsea and transferred to Hull. After conversion to conventional diesel power ADL Enviro 400s 902/09 have returned to service at Hull with modifications now taking place on 907 and 908.

Now for disposal is the last non-DDA vehicle in the fleet, Trident 17009 from Chesterfield although its planned replacement, Enviro 400 19104 from Stagecoach Manchester, is yet to arrive here. Chesterfield’s Enviro 200 36992 is currently out of service for repairs and as a result spare MAN/ALX300 22421 has been drafted in as a replacement.

All remaining Volvo Olympians are now out of service with 16292/95, 16302/05, 16468, 16502/90, 16632, 16752/67/87 all awaiting disposal. These are the only Volvo Olympians listed by the company suggesting all others have now been sold. Also for disposal are the fire-damaged remains of Optare Solo 47308. A further arrival from Stagecoach South West is Trident 18078 which, along with 18077/80/81 and 18329, has been allocated to Chichester.
Scania/Enviro 400s 15603/04 are reported by the company as having transferred from Portsmouth to Worthing in exchange for 15804/05. Transferred from Chichester to Portsmouth is Trident 17698 in exchange for Enviro 400 19090. Trident 18504 has transferred from Winchester to Andover. Now in the reserve fleet are Dart SLFs 34453 (Andover) and 34517 (Chichester) along with Enviro 300 27515 (Chichester).
Reserve Fleet Dart SLF 34615 is now allocated to Portsmouth, with 35214 transferring from Portsmouth to Guildford. Guildford also has 35216/17 on its books from Andover. Optare Solo 47309 has transferred from Guildford to Andover with 47539/46/47 transferred from Andover to Guildford.

A further departure from Cumbernauld is Enviro 400MMC 10525 which has transferred to Stagecoach Bluebird. Tri-Axle Leyland Olympians 13628 (Ayr) and 13644 (Ardrossan) are now in the Reserve Fleet. Scania/Enviro 400 15643 has returned to service at Ardrossan following refurbishment with 15644 now receiving attention. Trident 18369 has transferred from Dumfries to Ayr whilst MAN/ALX300 is now allocated to the main fleet at Dumfries. Following repairs Enviro 300 27213 is back in service at Cumbernauld. Optare Solo 47500 is delicenced, from Dumfries, and replaced with 47718 whilst Van Hool Astromega has returned to service at Ayr. Volvo B10M training vehicle 52255 is now for disposal resulting in 53234 moving from Dumfries to Kilmarnock.

Recently transferred from Stagecoach Oxfordshire, Enviro 400 Hybrids 12014/17/22 have been allocated to Hyde Road where they have displaced Enviro 400s 19362/63/64 for transfer to Sharston. The three vehicles from Hyde Road has allowed Sharston to release Enviro 400s 19085/91 to Ashton and 19104 for transfer to Stagecoach Yorkshire. 19348/49 are now allocated to Stockport. MAN/ALX300s 22363 (from Reserve) and 22393 (from Stockport) are for disposal whilst 22391 has moved from the main fleet at Stockport to the Reserve Fleet. A further Dart SLF transferred to Stagecoach South East is 34794.

On loan here from Stagecoach East Scotland are Enviro 400s 19549/50/51/55 (at Aberdeen) and 19548/56 (at Peterhead). Volvo Br% 53266 has been scrapped whilst 53272 from Aberdeen is now for disposal with 53226 from Aberdeen delicenced for repairs. Also undergoing repairs is Volvo B11R 54254. Now withdrawn for disposal are Volvo Olympian 16120 (from Insch), MAN/ALX300 22312 (from Aberdeen) and Tridents 17281 (from Peterhead) and 17301 (from Aberdeen). Enviro 400MMC 10525 received here from Stagecoach West Scotland is allocated to the Reserve Fleet at Aberdeen. Volvo B10M training vehicle 52621 has transferred from Elgin to Aberdeen. Optare Solo changes are 47161 from Macduff to Stonehaven. 47214 from Peterhead to Aberdeen, 47233 from Reserve Fleet to Peterhead displacing 47488 to the Reserve Fleet. Following completion of repairs Enviro 200 36959 is back in service at Peterhead.

The entry into service of Enviro 200MMCs 26069/72/74/75/76/77/78/79/80 at Slatyford has displaced MAN/ALX300s 22032/33/36/38/41/42/45/47/48 for disposal. Also now for disposal here are MAN/ALX300s 22011/21/22/23/25/27/28/29/30/31 which were previously in the Reserve Fleet. Now out of service for disposal are open top Leyland Olympians 14670/71 whilst Enviro 300 27508 is in the Reserve Fleet (from Slatyford) with 27510 being prepared for service at Stockton. MAN/E300 22570 is now in service at Slatyford.

Engine problems have sidelined Trident 18292, which has been withdrawn from Hastings and is now awaiting disposal. Repairs have now been completed on Volvo B9R 53708 which has returned to service on National Express duties from Diver depot. All four Dart SLFs received recently from Stagecoach Manchester are in the Reserve Fleet at Herne Bay (34792), Folkestone (34794), Hastings (34799) and Ashford (34800). Vehicles sold are Dart SLFs 34412 and 34413 along with the fire-damaged remains of Enviro 200 36487.

The four Enviro 200s received from Stagecoach East Scotland, 36202/04/05/06, have been allocated to Inverness in exchange for Enviro 300s 27631, 27909/10 and 27915 which had already been transferred. Inverness has also received Enviro 200 36070 from Fort William. Scania/Enviro 300s 28601/02 have been reallocated from Inverness to Tain whilst Volvo B7Rs 53256/61 from Skye are now in the Reserve Fleet. 53293 has been allocated to Aviemore after completion of repairs. Reserve Fleet Optare Solo 47232 is now delicenced undergoing repairs. Tri-Axle Leyland Olympian 13636 is now awaiting disposals whilst the remains of Volvo B7Rs 53228 and 53230 have been scrapped.

The three Tridents on loan to Stagecoach Midlands are operating from Leamington (17722) and Kettering (17728/29).

Following the transfer of some work from Stratford to Leamington, Scania/Enviro 400s 15448/49/72 along with Tridents 17567, 18103/06, 18322/23/71 and Dart SLF 34772 have transferred over to Leamington along with Optare Solo 47653 which is now in the Reserve Fleet. Withdrawn for disposal from Northampton is Volvo B10M training coach 52434.
Optare Solo 47402, which has been awaiting disposal has been returned to the main fleet at Kettering. Vehicles now for disposal here include Tridents 17037, 17613 (Kettering), 17076, 17614/17 (Reserve Fleet), 17127 (Rugby), 17694/96 (Leamington) along with Optare Solos 47045, 47128 (Delicenced) and 47406 (Kettering). Also for disposal is Dart SLF 34628 from Leamington.
Rugby-allocated Dart SLF 34499 is now in the Reserve Fleet., whilst Reserve Fleet 34494 has moved from Kettering to Rugby.

Volvo Olympians 16075, 16753 and 16754 have been withdrawn from service at Perth and sold to JMB Travel, whilst Tridents 17061 and 17052 have been sold to SD Travel. Volvo 16936 has returned to service at Perth and Enviro 400 19896 is now back in service at Arbroath. Trident 18020 has been allocated to Dunfermline. Enviro 400s 19552/53/54 have transferred from St Andrews to Perth to replace the recently withdrawn Volvo Olympians. Enviro 300 27915 has been allocated to Aberhill. Volvo B10M training coaches 52477 and 52649 have been withdrawn and will be replaced by East Lancs-bodies MANs 22501/03. Withdrawn from St Andrews and now for disposal is Dart SLF 34375. Volvo B7Rs 53253/60/87 are all now for disposal whilst Volvo B9R 53717 has transferred from Arbroath to Dunfermline following the allocation of new Volvo B11R 54284 to Arbroath. Several vehicles are no longer listed by the company suggesting they have been sold/scrapped including Tridents 17584 and 18012, MAN/Enviro 300 22565, Enviro 300 27547, Dart SLF 34587/98, 34606 and Optare Solo 47222. The Rennies operation has now relocated to the old Cowdenbeath depot.

Scania/Enviro 400s 15893-97 from Barnstaple are now in the Reserve Fleet pending allocation to Exeter where they will replace Tridents 18114/15/16/17/19. It has been confirmed that Trident 18076 is due to be cascaded to Stagecoach East Scotland. Trident 18131 from Barnstaple is now in the Reserve Fleet, however, 18383/84 have transferred from the Reserve Fleet to Torquay. Transferred from Exeter to the Reserve Fleet are Dart SLF 33865 and MAN/Enviro 300 24141. Dart SLFs transferred are 34610/13 from Plymouth to the Reserve Fleet and 35153/54 from Exeter to Torquay. Optare Solos 47576/96 are now for disposal here whilst 47597 is back in use and allocated to Torquay.

ADL Enviro 200s 36768/69 were finally transferred to Banbury on December 29th 2016, displacing 36449/50 which were transferred to Stagecoach East Midlands (on Trade Plates) the following day.

Now in green ‘Lakes’ livery is Optare Solo 47007. Seat belt fitted MAN/ALX300 22149 has transferred from Kendal to West Cumbria. Two Mercedes Sprinter minibuses are currently on loan for use of a route diversion. Allocated to Kendal depot one of them is confirmed as registered BX14LDD.

The arrival of the two ADL Enviro 200s from Stagecoach Oxfordshire, 36449/50, and their allocation to Lincoln has allowed Optare Solos 47261/62 to be transferred to the Reserve Fleet.
For disposal here is Dart SLF 34400, which had been in the Reserve Fleet at Lincoln. 34400 pre-dates Stagecoach and was new to RoadCar specifically for a Tesco contract.
Lincoln-based Open Top Volvo B7TL 16943 is now in the Seasonal Reserve fleet.

The remaining three MCV EvoSeti-bodied Volvo B5TLs, 798, 800 and 802 were delivered to Hull depot on December 23rd 2016 whilst new Enviro 200MMCs 506-508 were delivered to Scarborough depot, from the nearby ADL site, on December 21st and have since been joined by 509.

Look out Tridents 18046/47/48 arriving at Worksop from Lincoln in the next few days. They are being exchanged for Trident 18121 and Enviro 400s 19317 and 19318.

The liveries of the 22 Cambridge Park & Ride Enviro 400MMCs are:
Pink/Red: 10789/90/91
Blue: 10792/93/94/95
Green: 10796/97/98/99, 10800

10789-95 are at Cambridge with the remainder on loan to Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire are being used from Rock Ferry (10796/979/9, 10801/02) or Chester (10798, 10800/03-07/10) on routes 2 & X8 between Liverpool & Chester for increased capacity during the Wirral line engineering work. The actual rail replacement services are operated by Arriva North West.We have not received any reports yet to confirm the delivery of  10808/09.
The error on registrations appears to have been related to the ‘plates fitted to the vehicles rather than them incorrectly being registered with the DVLA. As a result, correct registrations are now carried by:

Seat belt-fitted Volvo Olympian 16639 has had a reprieve and is available for service at Barrow pending the return of Trident 18375 which is currently being fitted with seat belts. Dispensation from DDA requirements have been obtained to allow the short term temporary use of the Olympian.

It is understood that four former Stagecoach East dual door Enviro 400s are now at Bus & Coach World for removal of the centre exit, prior to arrival here. 19296, 19301 and 19303 are confirmed, but the other one is currently unknown.
 
➨Stagecoach West Scotland
We understand that former Stagecoach Oxfordshire Scania/Enviro 400s 15994-96 have transferred from Cumbernauld to Kilmarnock allowing 15621-23 to be released for transfer to Stagecoach East Scotland but await confirmation.

Another Trident to leave the fleet is East Lancs-bodied 17699, which has been transferred to Stagecoach South East and has been reported at Hastings.

Another Dart SLF reported as transferred from Barnstaple to Plymouth is 34776.

Another reported arrival here is Optare Spectra R2NEG, which was seen on a school working and still carries Midland Classic livery. It carried fleet number 41 with Midland Classic but was new to National Express West Midlands.
