Latest news from Stagecoach Cumbria & South Lancashire is that Ferrymill Motors Enviro 200 Fm36 (MX14FUP) remains on loan here and is based at Carlisle. The DDA upgrade to former Norfolk Green Optare Solo 47884 has been completed and it is due to be allocated to Carlisle, where Volvo Olympians 16640/51 are also expected to return to use on short-term Schools contracts. MAN/Enviro 300 22887 has transferred from Morecambe to West Cumbria.
Delaine Buses’ newest double deck Volvo B5TL/Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 159 is reported damaged after being hit by a car.
Following the entry into service of the last two Stagecoach East Volvo B8RLEs 21308/10 at Fenstanton, Volvo B7RLEs 21222/30 have transferred to Cambridge, this is likely to result in the imminent transfer of MAN/ALX300s 22329/32 from Cambridge to Stagecoach Manchester. This will then leave just three MAN/ALX300s on the books at Cambridge - 22058/59/60.
East Yorkshire Motor Services has fitted WiFi to 16 vehicle. Service Route 103/105: 700/03/05/08/09/68/69/70/71; Route X46: 791/92/93/94/95; Spare: 698 and 790.

Look out for at least three Tridents transferring from Stagecoach Manchester to Stagecoach South East next weekend. We understand that 17628/29/31 may be the vehicles to move south.

At Stagecoach West Scotland, Optare Solo 47460 has transferred to Dumfries from Kilmarnock and is being used on the 221 Sanquhar local services. The 221 is now operated from Dumfries depot, having briefly passed to Kilmarnock following the closure of Cumnock depot. TransBus Enviro 300 27623 has been transferred from the Reserve Fleet back to Stranraer depot having received major engine repairs, it has also been re-trimmed and repainted. Following transfer back to Stagecoach West Scotland from Stagecoach East Scotland, Volvo B12B 53114 which was placed into the Reserve Fleet and stored at Dumfries is now in service from Dumfries depot although transfer elsewhere within Stagecoach UK Bus is expected.
At Stagecoach North East, Richard Smiles reports that Slatyford-allocated Dennis Dart SLF 35187 was extensively damaged by Fire last Friday (January 22nd) in West Denton, Newcastle.
East Yorkshire Motor Services has reported that former Whittles coach 88 (FJ11GKC), has been returned to Hull after a period on loan to National Express Operations and has been renumbered to 91 and allocated to the Hull National Express Unit. It would appear that the plans to renumber this batch of vehicles from the Whittles fleet series of 84-89 to 91-96 in that order never took place and 84-87 and 89 and still referred to by their former Whittles fleet numbers.

A further Eastbourne-based Stagecoach South East Enviro 400 to receive ‘One’ branding is 19655.
The clear out of withdrawn vehicles from Whippet continues with WS302 (H14WCL) departing for scrap to to Shelton Vehicles, Ramsey, Cambridgeshire on January 20th for scrap. This leaves just WS303 (H16WCL) to be collected.
At Stagecoach East, the final two Busway Volvo B8RLEs to enter service, 21308/10 are now at work from Fenstanton. Signs that the attractive former Norfolk Green Coasthopper livery is being banished by Stagecoach East is the repainting of Optare Solo 47912 in corporate livery.
East Yorkshire Motor Services reports the sale of training Volvo B10M/Alexander PS 9911, which was re-registered from 546EYB to M421RRN before sale. Two Volvo B7TLs 646 and 647 are for conversion to training vehicles.

Stagecoach East has cascaded Reserve Feet Optare Solo 47341, with Bedford Bus branding, into Peterborough. It is currently in use on the 20/21/22 group of services. This is the first time an Optare Solo has been allocated to Peterborough.

East Yorkshire Motor Services has advised that a large number of fleet changes took place in December 2015 and at the beginning of January 2016. These changes have seen a reduction of Dart SLFs and MANs in the operational fleet with Dart SLFs 302/03/04/06/07 and 470/76 along with MANs 246 and 326-30 now delicenced. Also delicenced are Volvo B7TLs 646 and 647. Details of vehicle transfers between depots are:
Volvo Merit: 244 Hornsea to Beverley and 245 Hornsea to Hull
Enviro 300: 271 and 272 from Scarborough to Hornsea
Volvo B10BLE: 314 (ex Whittle fleet) from Delicenced to Hull
Enviro 200: 350 Hull-Bridlington, 379 Hull to Scarborough, 389/90 and 505 Delicenced to Scarborough
Volvo B7RLE: 367 and 368 Elloughton to Hull
Volvo B8RLE: 386 and 387 new to Elloughton
Volvo B7TL: 662 Hull to Bridlington and 682 Withernsea to Hull
Volvo B9TL: 736 Withernsea to Hull
Volvo B5TL: 796 and 797 New to Withernsea
News from Stagecoach East Scotland is that Volvo B7TL 16932 from Blairgowrie is latest of its type to undergo refurbishment, whilst Optare Solo 47004 has returned to service at Artbroath after refurbishment. MAN/ALX300 22277 is withdrawn from Dundee for disposal, whilst similar 22349 is transferred from the Reserve Fleet to Perth and 22350 from the Reserve Fleet to Dundee. Scania N270 24009 is back in the operational fleet at Dunfermline. Volvo B10M coach 52666 at Perth is now for disposal, having been replaced by Volvo B12M 53028. Volvo B7Rs 53278/79/84 and B12B 54049 are for transfer to Stagecoach Highlands with similar B12Bs 54074/75 now at Glenrothes. Finally Volvo B13R 54123 has returned to the Joint Venture fleet at Dundee after repairs.

Three Enviro 400s with Stagecoach South East at Eastbourne now carry ‘One’ branding for services 1/1A.
At Stagecoach Cumbria & South Lancashire Volvo B10M 20219 has returned to service at West Cumbria on schools services only whilst repairs are carried out on coach 52414. Dart SLFs 34704/05 have transferred from Morecambe to Kendal and all four MAN/Enviro 300s received from Oxford, 22761-64, have been put into service at Morecambe.

Stagecoach South West has put Enviro 400MMCs 10452-54 into service at Exeter. They are in a red-based livery with branding for the Honiton Road Park & Ride service. They have displaced Enviro 400s 19569-71, which are being debranded and repainted. 10455, which has returned to ADL for rectification after sustaining damage on delivery also carries the Honiton Road P&R livery, whilst 10456 which awaits entry into service is in corporate livery. Also being debranded is Optare Solo 47535.

At Stagecoach North East, the return of Enviro 400 19675 to Walkergate after a period on loan to Stagecoach East Scotland has seen MAN/ALX300 22014 transferred to the Reserve Fleet, allowing similar 22462 to move to the Disposal pool.
There have been numerous fleet changes within the Stagecoach Midlands Megabus fleet and these are detailed on the latest Allocation Supplement. In other changes here Volvo Olympian 16755 is now for disposal, whilst Trident 18157 has transferred from Leamington to Corby. MAN/Enviro 300 22840 is out of service at Rugby awaiting collision repairs. Optare Solos for Disposal are 47015 and 47038. Solos 47338 (Corby), 47069 and 47125 (Kettering); 47404/06/18 (Northampton) are now in the Reserve Fleet, but 47030 has returned to the main fleet at Rugby and 47402/17 have transferred from Northampton to Kettering with former Leamington Goldline Solos 47508-12, now repainted and retrimmed, in service at Northampton.

Stagecoach Manchester has put former Stagecoach East MAN/ALX300s 22322-24 into service at Middleton, where they have replaced similar 22221/24/41 which are now for disposal. Dart SLF 33873 has returned to service at Ashton, whilst a surprising move is of Trident 17638 from Sharston to Stockport. The allocation of MAN/ALX300 22321 to Stockport resulted in the withdrawal for disposal of 22808. Also withdrawn are the remaining two Alexander PS-bodied Volvo B10M saloons in the fleet, 20982/83. 20982 has been sold, whilst 20983 is for disposal. BMC 29723 is withdrawn from Wigan and awaits disposal. Optare Solo 47001 remains in the Reserve Fleet here, its’ transfer on loan to Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire having been cancelled, but 47752 has left the fleet having been transferred to Stagecoach South Wales where it will be converted to a publicity vehicle. Two more MAN/ALX300s have transferred here from Stagecoach East - 22327/28.

New with Stagecoach London for route 47 are Enviro 400MMCs 13082-91. Tridents 17807/10 are in the Reserve Fleet with 17789/98 and 17922 for disposal. Trident 17819 is shown by the company as scrapped.
At Stagecoach Yorkshire Scania/Enviro 400 15709 is back in service at Ecclesfield following modifications, with 15710 now away for attention. Converted for driver training duties MAN/ALX300 22085 is allocated to Holbrook. For disposal are MAN/ALX300s 22801/11/12, whilst a further Optare Solo to be transferred to Stagecoach South Wales is 47285.
At Stagecoach South East, Volvo Olympian 16139 from Folkestone has replaced 16297 at Herne Bay, whilst 16130, also from Folkestone has replaced 16361 at Dover. Thanet’s 16509 is now in the Reserve Fleet, along with 16362 from Hastings. Ashford has transferred two ADL Enviro 400s away, 19021 to Folkestone and 19659 to Eastbourne, but in their place are Scania/Enviro 400s 15436/37 from Folkestone. Optare Solo 47173 moves from Dover to Ashford, whilst Folkestone’s 47112 is now in the Reserve Fleet. The former Merseyside Dart SLFs have been split between Ashford (34790/91) and Hastings (34620 and 34789). Additions to the Reserve Fleet are Dart SLFs 33175/76, 34697, 34847, 35256; MAN/ALX300s 22009, 22945; Optare Solo 47112 and Volvo Olympians 16297, 16361/63, 16509. MAN/ALX300 22009 is now for disposal.

Stagecoach South reports that Volvo Olympian 16304 and Trident 18515 have transferred from Winchester to Andover. The only other reported fleet change is the withdrawal for disposal of Rail Replacement Unit Volvo B10M 52655, which has also been re-registered from WLT526 to V905DPN.

A fleet change at Stagecoach Oxfordshire previously unreported by us is that of Scania/Enviro 400 15838 transferred from Oxford to Witney.
A large number of fleet changes have been made at Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire in the last month. These are fully detailed in the latest Allocation Supplement (see Publication Updates section of website) for the latest fleet position. Recent withdrawals for disposal are MAN/ALX300s 22135, 22274, 22805/09/14/15 and Dart SLFs 34220/21.
At Stagecoach West Scotland MAN/ALX300 22390 is out of service following flood damage whilst it is reported that MAN/Enviro 300 22529 has been written off. MAN/Enviro 300 22521 moves into Reserve from Ardrossan; 22863 from Ardrossan to Kilmarnock and 22867 from Kilmarnock to Reserve. Reserve Optare Solo 47356 is now allocated to Ardrossan with 47359 moving from Stranraer into the Reserve Fleet. Following the entry into service of Volvo B11Rs 54258-62 are Dumfries, Volvo B12B 54076 has moved to the Reserve Fleet whilst 54077-79 are for transfer to Stagecoach Midlands. Vehicles now back after loan to Stagecoach East Scotland are 27226/78 allocated to Glasgow; 53114 in Reserve; 53256 allocated to Ardrossan and 53293 allocated to Stranraer.

Following the return to service of Optare Solo 47356 with Stagecoach West Scotland, the planned transfer of this vehicle on loan to Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire has been cancelled, likewise the planned transfer on loan of Solo 47001 from Stagecoach Manchester to Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire has also been cancelled.
