It has emerged that both Stagecoach West and Stagecoach Oxfordshire have sent different vehicles to Stagecoach Yorkshire, for Supertram replacement work, from those that were expected. Stagecoach West has sent Trident 2/Enviro 400 19128 (not 19129) and Stagecoach Oxfordshire has sent Scania/Enviro 400 15438 (not 15435).
Back to Stagecoach West and Dave Russell & Deric Pemberton report that Dart SLF 33942 has continued to see service at Swindon despite it being regarded by the company as for disposal. As a result we are now showing it as a Reserve Fleet vehicle on our Allocation Supplement. A further trident in this fleet to lose its service 46/93 branding is 18321. At Stagecoach South Wales five former Oxford Tube Van Hool Astromegas have arrived from Stagecoach West Scotland - 50204/21-24. MAN/Enviro 300s 22787/90/92-94 are additional vehicles to have left this fleet on transfer to Scotland. Optare Solo 47642 is out of service and at Smiles Engineering for engine upgrade. At Stagecoach Oxfordshire Reserve Fleet Dart SLF 33651 is reported to have moved from Banbury to Oxford. The Seasonal fleet at Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire is now back in service. Former Stagecoach London Trident 17495 is back at Carlisle after open top conversion and single door conversion and is undergoing repaint. Open top Tridents 17012-16 have has additional bike racks installed which allows up to four bikes to be carried on each vehicle. MAN 22596 and Trident 18380 have transferred from West Cumbria to Morecambe. Repairs on Reserve Fleet Volvo B10M 20459 have been halted and the vehicle is now for disposal. Similar 20945 has returned to service at Kendal. Volvo Olympian 16339 is withdrawn from Barrow for disposal, but 16670 which had been for disposal is back at Barrow and in service. Olympian 16714 has been sold. Also withdrawn for disposal are MAN/ALX300s 22824/25 from Morecambe. The three former Preston Bus Optare Solos that have transferred to Stagecoach East Midlands from Stagecoach Manchester are 47754/68/74 - all three have been allocated to Lincoln. Displaced from Lincoln to the Reserve Fleet are Gas-operated Optare Solos 47271 and 47396. Staying with Stagecoach East Midlands, five MAN/ALX300s have transferred to the Reserve Fleet, 22278 and 22365 from Lincoln along with 22306/07/09 from Gainsborough, whilst 22360/79/82 from the Reserve Fleet are now allocated to Hull. It is understood that the MAN/ALX300 type here is to be concentrated at Hull. The replacement for the ALX300s are ADL Enviro 300s ousted from Hull with 27785/86 moving to Lincoln and 27787/88/89 moving to Gainsborough. ADL E20D/Enviro 200 37203 has returned to service at Grimsby following repairs. Former Megabus Plus coaches 52678 and 53021 are to join the Rail Replacement fleet at Lincoln. The former Stagecoach East Volvo B9R/Plaxton Panther coaches 53601-05 are now at Hull for Megabus Plus duties. As a result of accident damage Trident 17679 is now for disposal. We are advised that the three ex Stagecoach London Tridents that turned up at Hull recently, 17503/88/89, were purely for spares and are now listed as awaiting disposal. East Yorkshire Motor Services Training unit has named its new double deck training vehicle 9915 'Hope', whilst the ADL Enviro 400 MMC demonstrator, YX64VOO, which was expected in Hull last week has now arrived and will stay here for two weeks. It has been given temporary fleet number 134. The last Optare Solo, and indeed the last minibus, in the fleet 423 has been withdrawn and sold. Further information from Stagecoach East Midlands is that former Lincoln City Tour Volvo Olympian 16314 has gained a pink-based livery and the Hattie the Seasider name. It is currently in Skegness.
