Stagecoach East Midlands has confirmed that former Manchester Tridents 17648, 18281/85/87/92 have been repainted out of Magicbus livery into standard Stagecoach livery. Volvo B10M 53031 has received Rail Replacement livery. At Stagecoach East the former Cavalier Dart SLF 33305, which wears Smartcard branding, has been allocated to Cambridge as a replacement for 34580 which was transferred in May to King’s Lynn. Two Tridents 18348/49 have been transferred from Cambridge to Peterborough where they will displace MAN/ALX300s 22333/34 to the Reserve Fleet although it has been suggested that 22233 may be cascaded elsewhere within Stagecoach. Stagecoach Yorkshire has now returned all of the Enviro 400s that has been on loan from regional fleets for Supertram replacement duties, with the exception of the three vehicles from Stagecoach East Scotland. The Supertram replacement fleet now comprises former Stagecoach East Scotland Enviro 400s 19641-51/54/55/62/68. The first of the Chesterfield Optare Excel’s to be taken out of service is 35000 which will be converted into a training bus. Notable withdrawals from service and awaiting disposal are Dart SLFs 33097 and 33297. There have been several re-allocations within the Stagecoach Yorkshire fleet including: 15411 Barnsley-Ecclesfield 16937/38 Ecclesfield-Barnsley 22508/09, 22812 Reserve-Barnsley 22934/40 Rawmarsh-Reserve 34582/84, 34723 Barnsley-Chesterfield 34365, 34722 Barnsley-Rawmarsh Further north at Stagecoach North East Dart SLF 33101 has been sold to the North East Bus Preservation Trust and MAN/ALX300 22494 has been sold to Alpha Recovery. MAN/ALX300s 22480 and 22733 are now for disposal and 22462 is now in the Reserve Fleet. Stagecoach Midlands has confirmed that Trident 17615 recently transferred from Stagecoach Manchester is allocated to Corby, whilst being prepared for service are 17613 (Rugby), 17614 (Stratford) and 17622 (Kettering). It is also confirmed that 17494, 17527/75 will be converted to part open top and receive single door conversion at Bus & Coach World, Blackburn. Another Volvo Olympian out of service is 16495 at Corby, whilst 16516 has been sold to A H Hardwick. Former Scottish MAN/ALX300s now in service are 22374 at Leamington and 22375 at Northampton. Dart SLF 34120 is now for disposal, whilst Optare Solos 47034/35 are transferred from the Reserve Fleet to Leamington, with Dart SLF 34494 now in Reserve. Trident 18406 is back in service at Rugby after repairs, allowing 17212 to transfer back to Northampton. Look out for the new Optare Solo SRs entering service with Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire at Carlisle during June, which will result in the cascade of Enviro 200s south with Stagecoach Yorkshire and Stagecoach Midlands expected to receive some of them. The repairs to Stagecoach Cumbria & North Lancashire Dart SLF 34717, using parts from collision damaged 34589, has now been completed.
