Stagecoach Yorkshire is reported to have repainted Scania 15414 in historic Yorkshire Traction livery. Stagecoach East Midlands has been operating Enviro 400s 36058/59 from Grimsby although we understand they have now returned to Lincoln. We have received several rumors that that Open Top Bristol FLF 19952 from the Stagecoach Historic Bus and Coach Fleet may bet transferred to this fleet from Stagecoach East on a permanent basis and would be allocated to Skegness. We are seeking confirmation and if the rumors are correct when the transfer will take place and what the intended use is for the bus. Stagecoach East has still not transferred Tridents 18348/49 from Cambridge to Peterborough and although the company continues to show the transfer as having taken place on its official records we will now assume the transfer has been cancelled, with MAN/ALX300s 22333/34 remaining in the main fleet at Peterborough rather than being transferred to the Reserve Fleet. Stagecoach London reports that Tridents 17530/56/57 are for disposal, whilst similar 17807-10 are allocated to Leyton as refurbishment cover. Stagecoach Highlands has transferred Optare Solos 47180 and 47568 to Bluebird, where they have been allocated to Aberdeen and Elgin respectively, whilst Enviro 200 36070 is now back in service at Inverness. MAN/E300 22783 has been allocated to Caithness and recently-received coach 52659 is in the reserve fleet, as are Optare Solos 47161 and 47755/88. Awaiting disposal are MAN/ALX300s 22704 and 22708. At Bluebird, coach 52621 is now in the training fleet at Elgin, 53309 is back in service at Aberdeen and Optare Solo 47019 has been sold. At Stagecoach West Scotland six tri-axle Leyland Olympians 13618/28/32/42/43/44 have been stood down for the school holidays whilst similar 13612/16/47 have been sold and 13624/50 are awaiting disposal. A large number of vehicles have been placed in the reserve fleet including Volvo Olympians 16728, 16852/54; Tridents 18000, 18369/71; MAN 22871 and Optare Solos 47314, 47500/06/29, 47627. Also in the Reserve Fleet are Optare Solos 47163 and 47476 which have recently been received from Stagecoach South East and Stagecoach Manchester. New ADL Enviro 300s delivered to Glasgow are 27211-22 (SK15HBJ/L/N/O/P/U/X/Y/Z, HCA/C/D). Stagecoach Cumbria and North Lancashire has transferred recently delivered Optare Solo 48002 from Carlisle to West Cumbria as a result of a seasonal requirement. Back in service at Carlisle are Enviro 200s 37118/20. Following the recent announcement that Stagecoach are to take over First’s Plymouth operation, but not including vehicles, it is expected that a fleet of vehicles will be formed and held at existing Stagecoach UK Bus depots pending transfer to Stagecoach South West in September.
