We have now been informed that it is Optare Solo SRs 47842-46 along with earlier Solos 47462/63 that have been transferred from Stagecoach East Midlands at Lincoln to Stagecoach West Scotland at Glasgow. At Stagecoach West, Optare Versas 25229/31-33 have arrived from Stagecoach Merseyside & South Lancashire and will displace a similar number of Tridents that will go to Merseyside. We also understand that Stagecoach West also intends to exchange further Tridents with Stagecoach South taking Dart SLFs in return. Now in service at Gloucester are new Enviro 200s 37323-26. Information updated on August 10th 2015 at 13:00 We seems to have suffered an IT malfunction, which was probably caused through a ‘delete’ button being pressed in error which meant that our post made on August 7th 2015 was deleted. We are now re-publishing that information. Nigel Kirk has confirmed that at Stagecoach East Midlands it was Trident 18034 that suffered an engine fire whilst being transferred from Lincoln to Workshop recently. It has been replaced by 17682 which has subsequently been transferred on loan. Also on loan to Worksop is Volvo 16917 from Scunthorpe. Despite its move into the Reserve Fleet at Lincoln MAN/ALX300 22658 is continuing to see regular all day service from Lincoln. At Stagecoach Yorkshire the remaining Optare Excels - 35001/02/03/04/06 - have been taken out of service at Chesterfield. The work to convert similar 35000 into a training vehicle continues at Chesterfield. The sale of Volvo Olympians 624 and 633 by East Yorkshire Motor Services means that there are now no Olympians on the company’s books. Also sold is Caetano Dart SLF 319, whilst repaints into corporate livery are 340 and 792
